Features

  • AMETHYST PURPLE HAIR DYE! Our Good Dye Young Hair Dye semi permanent combines salon-grade pigments with a nontoxic, conditioning formula that deposits ultra-vibrant color. Our temporary hair dye combines a high-quality cream base with essential oil benefits.
  • FLORAL PURPLE SHADE: Our semi permanent hair color hair dye does not damage the hair, in fact, theyre super conditioning. The color in our color changing hair dye is deposited on top of the hair shaft and acts like a stain that will fade out over time each time you wash your hair (lasts 15-24+ washes)
  • NATURAL INGREDIENTS: This non permanent hair color is fragranced with the essential oil Bergamot, known for its mood-lifting properties. Our temp hair color uses Sunflower Extract to add UV protection to shield hair from the sun and hot tools that cause color fading. Vegan, Cruelty-Free, & Made in the U.S.A.!
  • HOW TO USE: This temp hair dye color shows best on level 10 light blonde hair. Lighten your hair using our Lightening Kit & squeeze out some color into our Tool Kit. Wear gloves to prevent staining. Do a strand test with this hair dye blue before dividing your hair into 4 sections & applying it all over! Make sure the color is fully saturated. Let sit for 30 minutes before rinsing out with cool water.

  • In Hayley We Trust
Color: Kowabunga
Kowabunga is literally the best green I've ever used. Very yellow-based, super bright, and extremely full coverage. I mix it with a bit of black to deepen the color to a forest/pine green and it still glows in the sunlight. You can see bits of gold reflect in the sun that looks stunning and I'm always getting compliments on my color. I always have even cor from root to tip with GDY dyes, and my roots are typically resistant to taking semi permanent color after a fresh bleach so it's awesome being able to have even color from the jump. Fade out is on tone for Kowabunga, it doesn't turn blue/teal over time but does become more of a flat grassy green color. It lasts forever though, even when I use clarifying shampoo 2x a month. Scalp staining is almost non-existent and it smells great as well. ... show more

Color: Rock Lobster
loved this color!! super vibrant, no staining and smells amazing ! recently retired my red hair cause I got tired of it but this was the best vibrant red i’ve used! I did have to lighten my hair pretty light for it to show up - but that’s advertised on the product! would definitely use this brand in the future if I get tired of my black hair ! ... show more

  • Love the product
Color: Live Laugh Love
Worked really well on my hair. It's pigmented nicely so the color is vibrant. Showed up a bit lighter on my hair but I really love the color. Will definitely buy again. It also smells really good. Only thing I will say is to make sure you have bleach around, best way to getcthe color out of your tub. ... show more

  • Going straing back to Overtone - this product is awful
Color: Pink Puff
Been dying my hair and my partners hair with Overtone color conditioner for over 3 years. Decided to give this product a try because it's cheaper. Will definitely never buy it again. I have quite a high skill level in dying hair with color conditioners. I bleach my partners black middle eastern hair to blonde and dye his bright blue. My hairdresser bleaches my hair to a perfectly even level 10 blonde and then I color my own hair pink, usually with Overtone. I always get compliments that my hair dye is super even, and the same for my partner too. Despite having quite a high skill level, it was almost impossible to get this product even. It felt like my hair was eating the product, and it was way too thick to spread evenly. It took more than twice the time that it takes with Overtone to get it to what looked even. There just wasn't enough moisture in the product for it to spread properly. I used 2 tubes for my medium length hair. And there are no guidelines anywhere about how much product to buy. In the three and a half years that I've been dying my hair pink, it has never come out such an awful mess as this. The front is florescent pink. There are patches that look pinky orange. The back looks a completely different color to the top. It is patchy all over. There are blonde patches where it didn't take at all. I'm going to need to wash it several times to get the pink to fade, and then start again. I don't recommend this product at all, even if you are reasonably experienced in using color conditioners. ... show more

  • Worked even on my silver/gray, just not for long.
Color: Stoned Pony
This is a really cool product! I have naturally silver hair so dyes don’t take well on my locks. This product is supposed to be good for 24 washes, and I’m lucky to get it to stay for maybe a week. I do think that’s because of my natural hair color and gray/silver hair. However, it does take for a few days, and that’s all I really need it for. It washes out evenly so I don’t get a root line so maintenance is very easy. I plan on buying other colors in the future. ... show more

  • I dyed
Color: Devil's Ivy
A little backstory as I feel context is important and I strive to be as detailed as possible. I bleached my black permanent box dyed hair with 40vol bleach and a hairdryer, armed with dollar store tinfoil sheets, God, and hubris the size of Europe. Four hours into my bleaching endeavor and significantly more humble, I applied this direct dye to the few spruces of hair left atop my head that will look so slay in a straight ponytail, just like when I was a toddler! And just like when I was a toddler, my critical thinking has been found wanting, but this dye has not. The smell is nothing to write home about but I wasn't sent running for the hills either. The color bled a bit on my forehead when my straight pony inevitably fell limp and laid their lifelessly, I was rather tuckered out from melting my hair off, having a breakdown, slamming two cups of coffee and questioning my life decisions, not in that specific order, so I may not have washed my last sprig standing thoroughly enough. Every semi permanent I've used has bled a bit though in the same spot. Am I a sweaty Betty? Perhaps ... show more

  • Pretty, but not as pictured and faded fast
Color: Du Hast
I've had my eye on Du Hast for ages and finally tried it out. In the photo this color is a stunning reddish orange coppery shade, although they describe it as "rose gold". It's definitely not rose gold. On me - and I was putting this on level 8/9 mostly blonde hair with a tinge of faded peach underneath - it came out pumpkin color. It was actually very pretty, although it looked faded right after application. Just not what I was expecting. It was lighter than pictured and more orange. That was ok, it was still pretty, but after two washes it was pastel peach - just came right out. This formula is very thick, and it's in a tube with a small opening - made it VERY hard to get out of the tube. The other thing that I found odd was the color of the dye itself. Usually with semi permanents, the color of the dye is pretty much what color your hair will be. This dye was brownish with a tiny pink undertone, but created a pale orange on my hair. That's not a complaint, but if you're planning to mix this to get your perfect color, it will be very confusing since this is NOT "what you see is what you get". Overall it's not bad, didn't cause staining issues, didn't smell bad. But for this kind of money I expected a more saturated and bold color, and for it to last more than two washes. ... show more
