I needed a 10-foot length of garden hose to finish my automated sprinkler setup for newly planted grass (see photo). This worked well for its intended purpose and the hose does NOT kink. The biggest problem I have been having is most hoses kink and the water flow stops. I am using this hose for a gravity-fed irrigation system. The irrigation water drops via gravity to my riser pipe and the result is a low pressure system. Many hoses fail when used with a low pressure system. The hose is stiff and will not kink and the color allows me to find it right away. Well done and worth the extra cost.

Superior quality hose. Heavy duty and worth the money. It includes very good washer that you don’t have to crank tight to prevent leaking. Being 3/4” is a good choice to maximize water flow volume. Doesn’t kink. I only wish it was available in white but besides that, no complains.

We have six 100 foot+ hose reels for various types of yard and garden watering. I just replaced one of the hoses after about 10 years. It had kinked and cracked and was ready to burst, so it was about time. It was an inexpensive vinyl hose, so 10 years is not too bad (even if it came with a "lifetime" warranty.) The other hoses are more expensive and still functional. I had no trouble installing this and it appears to be very good quality, but as the title says, you have to use it for awhile to find out. Here are what I see for this hose: 1. The hose appears to have a full 5/8" (.625") bore. None of the fittings have a narrowing, which can greatly reduce flow rate. Some hoses advertised as 5/8" have restrictions of less than 1/2" which greatly reduces flow. 2. It was easy to unroll and install on the reel. I can tell that the reviewers who complained about tangles while unwinding the hose do not understand how hoses (and things like cabling) are wrapped. They are spooled. You cannot uncoil from either the center or the outside - you will get a tangled mess if you do that. You have anchor one end of the hose and put your arm through the center and walk out a100' to unspool it. You then connect it to the hose reel and reel it in. There are no tangles if done properly. These kinds of tangles resulting from improper unspooling makes it look like the hose kinks easily, but that is not the case. Any hose will appear to kink if not handled properly. 3. This does not look like it will have a tendency to kink. 4. The fittings appear to be good quality. I always use copper anti-seize compound on female fitting that is attached to the hose reel. It also appears that a failed fitting could be replaced relatively easily. Some hoses use specialized swaged fittings and stainless steel covers that would make replacement very difficult. 5. The swivel handles on both ends are very handy. They are meant to slide off the end fittings in case you need direct access to the fittings. The swivel handles assist in moderate tightening and also provide strain relief on the ends of the hose, which the area where most hoses fail. If a user is really irritated with the swivel handle sliding down the hose, it would be easy to semi-permanently attach it with a few wraps of electrical tape. However, I really do not think this is necessary. 6. At the end of the season, I always blow out the hoses with compressed air so the hoses and hose reel will not suffer any freeze damage in the winter. For best protection, you can then remove the hose from the reel and store it indoors, but that is a far amount of work. 7. This is neither the cheapest nor the most expensive hose. This is not in the economy grade hose category. This one appears to me to be on the higher quality end of the spectrum. The warranty is somewhat short (2 years), but I am expecting a lot more if it is cared for and not abused I will try to update my review over time, to provide feedback on how well it is holding up.

This is hands down the best quality brand of hose. Between my mom & our household, we own about 6. The material is so flexible and DOES NOT KINK like other brands. When you first unravel it, it takes some stretching and unwinding but once you have it, you are good to go! I will always buy this brand

My house is the flower house in our small town. Hands down, this is the best hose I have ever owned. I have a lot of flowers in my yard that take an hour daily to water. I use the 100' hose, so I don't have to change nozzles. It doesn't kink! if there is a curl I just need to shake the hose, and it straightens out. I really like the fact that the end rotates so when watering with my wand I can easily turn it whichever direction is needed. It doesn't leak at the connection to the wand either. I have had a lot of hoses over the years that I have fought with. I purposely waited a few weeks to give a review to make sure things didn't change. Not only does it not kink, but it also isn't as heavy or stiff as past hoses. I will look at other gardening products from this company, If I could give it more than five stars I would.
