My husband got this for me for christmas and I LOVE it. I just wish you could set it to stay on longer, I think it turns off after 2 hours. However, I have the button on the ground under my desk (I work from home) and the button is really easy to tap with my foot. The heated part is only the bottom, and then there is a flap or material over the top which helps keep the heat in and my feet nice and warm, but just be aware that the top part isn't heated. It's a great size to have both feet in at once and sit comfortably. My cats also love this thing and so I often have my feet being warmed by the heating pad underneath and a cat on top of my feet! the material is very soft and plush, basically a microfiber blanket. I haven't had to wash it yet but I imagine soon I should - I am not sure if the cover is removable and washable or not.

This one is just nice. It has a very soft material similar to warm nice blankets, and your feet are placed inside, just like an envelope with a sleeve pointing out from below your legs (couldn't find a better description, sorry) and the wire will go out from the left side so keep that in mind when plugging it in. I believe the instructions that I accidentally threw away said to do not sleep with this, but I have done it (at my own risk) and nothing has happened. Normally I get awakened because of the heat and just turn it off, or in some cases unplug it. I also turn it on to make it warm up for about ten minutes, then unplug it and sleep because it is good at preserving warmth. This has an auto shutdown feature, which I assume is permanently fixed, so no matter what you do it will probably start counting two hours after the last button press. As far as I can gather this one has got three settings and only one button. When you plug it in, it will be turned off, so you need to press the button once to turn in on and it will be immediately in the low setting. It warms up in less than two minutes! You can leave it there for some nice warmth and it will just maintain a certain temperature, but if its just too cold you press the button again to turn it up to the medium setting, or press it another time to go to the high setting. If you then press it another time, ((the 4th time) the pad will be turned off. I found it makes a slight quiet buzz sound for some seconds when you first turn it on or crank up the settings, but its nice to have another form of confirmation besides the visual one. I have yet to figure out how to detach the cable for hand washing it, but I really like this so far. I would not advise to put this in the drier due to the material but rather to wash it early and let it air dry or naturally dry during the day.

This foot warmer is bigger than I anticipated, it covers about half of my legs. I wear size 7.5 in shoes for reference. It’s soft and I like that it’s roomy enough that I don’t feel trapped, but the heat is so disappointing. The highest setting is just barely warm enough and the heat doesn’t evenly distribute throughout the blanket. It does have an auto shut off so I fall asleep with it on and it turns off at some point. I like that. Overall it’s lovely but the heating aspect is mediocre so I’m giving 3 stars. Unless I got a dud, who knows! ADDENDUM: After using for a few months now, I’ve noticed the heat is much better however it just takes time to get there. I’m changing my rating to 4 stars now that the heat really is working, but can’t go to 5 considering how long it takes to get there. Within a few minutes you’ll feel warmth but it doesn’t get hot for probably 20-25 minutes if I had to guess.

I bought this foot warmer for my daughter’s birthday in December as she was always telling me how cold her feet were. It turned out to be a big hit-it was comfortably roomy, the fabric was soft and cozy, and the heat was spot-on. Definitely a winner!

Barely gets warm. There is no place for your feet. Just open air, so there is cold air on your feet that negates what this is supposed to do. The control is Upside down and on the left side, and it's down by your feet, so you can't reach it. Since most people are right handed, you can easily get tangled and trip and fall. The control is upside down, so you have to reach down and twist the entire cord to see it properly. That pulls the pads off your feet or makes you get more tangled. Horrible design. And because you can't reach the control, any time you move, if bumps it to a different setting or turns itself off. There is about 6 feet of empty cord from the wall to the control, plenty of opportunity to put the plug where you can reach it. Just awful that anythibg that would be ergonomic or logical has been ignored.

Meh.... I would say it's decent and keeps feet "warm" but like at the bare minimum. I have other heating pads that actually get nice and toasty to the point it's almost too much. This item for the price I'd say is just meh, doesn't get very hot even at max setting but does get warm.

The foot warmer heats well and keeps my feet warm. It is a lot bigger than is necessary for me, maybe that helps with being comfortable if you don't keep your feet together. I was worried that not having a heating element on the top would be an issue but it isn't. For context, we keep our heat at about 66 in the winter and I have carpet over cement floors so they can be very cold. I was wearing wool socks with slippers and my toes were still cold, now I just wear the socks when I'm sitting and have my feet in the warmer.
