The media could not be loaded. I've had this 24v 4000w inverter in my solar shed, does the job of everything including the microwave. Very powerful. My 3000w would overload so we got this one instead. In this video I'm pushing over 2k watts continuously and it does it no issues. Need to add more batteries but as for the inverter itself, it's doing it's job. You can hear the fans kicking on and it's not bad noise wise. For one reason or another I'm not sure why but the insides blew up one day, I thought it was the fuses but it was something else. I contacted Giandel, they quickly sent me a replacement after troubleshooting it. Amazing amazing amazing company! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Pulling less than 10% of rated 4000 watt output, with full battery bank, and beeps and displays "HI". Was actually in the market for another Giandel product, but now that is on hold to see if they will at least respond with a solution. **UPDATE** Giandel did respond with a potential solution - possible overcharge voltage of charge controller momentarily charging beyond set voltage. I am reducing charge voltage and monitoring closely now to see the results. ... show more

We are up grading from a cheap Home Depot 12 volt 750 watt inverter to a Giandel 24 volt inverter for our micro off grid camper. We had been using a low cost 12 volt inverter of 750 watts modified sine wave with one AGM 12 volt lead acid battery. So our new system will be this new Giandel 2000 watt 24 volt pure sine wave inverter with multiple lithium batteries connected in series to obtain 24 volt. Install a 24 volt to 12 volt step down for our 12 volt items. I was recommended this Giandel inverter by several notable solar power specialist, It has been said many times that Giandel is a very durable and dependable unit. After reading some other reviews I wanted to post some truth about this inverter. First, the included cables meant to connect the inverter to the battery is not thick enough. In one of my included pictures I cut the end off of the included red inverter cable and compared it to a USA made black 8 gauge solar cable. I'm guessing the included cable is 6 gauge. The reason a 6 gauge cable is not thick enough is mostly because of voltage drop. If you are pulling close to 1200 watts the voltage the inverter sees from the battery will drop. The inverter can't handle handle a voltage that is too low from the battery. So thicker power cables really help keeping the voltage higher. I used 1 gauge welding cable, USA made. 1 of my included pictures shows 3 different copper wires, a 1 gauge, 2 gauge and the included red cable. I managed to get the inverter to run for about 30 minutes at 1200 watts before it overloaded with a over heated error. The temperature of the air around it was 66 degrees F. Which is 19 degrees C. Also I read from a number of other reviews that the included cable was aluminum. So I cut the end off the provided cable and it was copper, as you can see in one of the pictures. Enjoy! ... show more

    • Excellent Inverter But Fan Can Get Loud

This inverter is stable and only draws around 5 watts of power during standby. With load around 180w steady I found it to be around 93% efficient. The cooling fan can get noisy but I found a way to remedy this by setting large heatsinks on top. This way the cooling fan rarely engages.

Great inverters! One has been going for 4 years 24/7. This one has 14mm nuts on the terminals, most brands have plastic thumb screws. Don't waste money on junk!!

No issues to speak of. Oscilloscope confirmed the sine wave. My 24v pack works great with it. Safety features tested and they work. In general I wish these things were smaller! Does pull what I feel is too much amperage when not in use. Added a disconnect switch to remedy that. Just bought a 3000w one a few days ago for some bigger projects! ... show more

The box for the inverter looked like it had been opened before like a returned and not reinspected or repacked . It was no packing under the inverter in the box . The box look also was missing the black and red cables . Both ends of the inverter mounts were damaged and were bent up.
