Switched out system in motor home, went from 12 volt to 24 , on the 12 volt I had 2000 watt powermax inverter with 4 interstate 6 volt golf cart batteries wired for 12 volt with about 500 watts of solar, it worked but amp loads were high and would not start roof ac and took quite a while to charge battery bank back to full. Rewired batteries to 24 volt rewired solar to 24 volt and added 24 to 12 volt converter for light and fans then installed the Giandel 2000 watt 24 volt inverter and wow it works a lot better , Starts and runs roof ac , it is quieter , and batteries charge back faster. It did get a little hot on the housing after about 15 minutes running 1700 watts but it was 97 degrees in the motor home at the time . So Far I am happy with it , If I was setting it up to run the roof ac I would go bigger like the 4000 watt with a lot more solar and batteries but for microwave, tv , refrigerator this one seems to be perfect size

Low power draw, economical.

I had previously bought a 3000w inverter (not this brand) and I was extremely displeased to find out that under no load, it drew almost ~2.5 amps (~60w for my 24v!) when the listing said only 1 amp. Fast forward to buying this inverter - When turned on but not under any load, this inverter (for me) draws ~0.25 amps (~6w for my 24v system!). This is a HUGE difference when the inverter is on but not powering anything when you are concerned about battery capacity. Under load is a different story, and can vary based on the size of the load. The remote, simple as it is, is super convenient especially if you get a long enough cable to run to, say, an entry door to turn on the inverter (and lights, etc). Just be warned - the cable for the remote LOOKS like a normal phone cable (4 wires) but the connector is slightly smaller than a phone line. Easily cut and spliced with a phone cord if you are on a budget, but just be warned it is not the same cable connector, just the same internally. I bought a 50ft phone line and ended up having to cut and splice it into the existing remote cable, but that was my mistake for not paying close enough attention to the connector size. Anyways, even spliced together the remote still works perfectly even at ~60ft away. Overall I was very impressed with this inverter for the price. If you are looking for a budget inverter that has a very low draw and (so far) is very reliable, this is your item.

Giandel customer service

I really could not say yet how this inverter will work out but I wanted, as soon as I could, to post a review about Giandel's customer service. I ordered one of these units a couple of weeks ago. What we received was a non-working, incomplete unit that appeared to have been a return. We thought about returning it for an exchange then realized if we did that someone else would likely end up with it. Instead, we contacted the company and within 24 hours had a response saying they would issue a refund for the dead unit so we could order a replacement. If this inverter lives up to Giandel's customer service it'll be a keeper.

Good inverter, underperforming display
Size: 2000w / 24V
The inverter arrived quickly and in perfect conditions. It performed well under test with a 1.5kW load for one hour of continuous use with case mildly warm and fan spinning, display showing correct input voltage and output power. Cables are sized appropriately for the expected use. Overload protection worked flawlessly with a 2.25kW load with the inverter tripping almost instantaneously. Under-voltage protection also worked perfectly around 20V before the battery BMS, but still enabling the full discharge of the two LiFePO4 batteries used for a capacity test. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that with a 750W load (fans not spinning, nice!) the display incorrectly shows an output power of 100W. Probably bad FW, and Giandel tech support is unresponsive.

Great Pure Sine Wave Inverter

UPDATE November 2024: My unit is still working great and I've been powering devices which draw 1,200 watts. I'm actually using my system now to charge my electric golf cart, which draws 1204 watts. Great Inverter! - Easy to hookup - Customer Service was outstanding and answered all my questions - I haven't tried to draw 2,000 watts, but I've powered devices up to 800 watts and it worked flawlessly I feel very confident of my purchase with Giandel and they have a great reputation. I will gladly update my rating to a 5 after using it to power higher current appliances and after I've had it in operation for a while.

Replaced 2000W 24 volt inverter works!!

Update 3/28/2020: Giandel provided troubleshooting help and eventually determined the inverter had failed. They sent a replacement and it has been working great. This new inverter has handled more than 1000W with no trouble. I bought this inverter for use in a small off-grid shed setup. It worked great for the first couple weeks of use. I have it connected to a 24 volt LiFePO4 battery pack. Yesterday I entered the shed and the lights would not turn on. When I push the power button, the display shows "HI" and beeps for a short time before shutting down. This inverter has never seen more than 28.8 volts at the input and has not been loaded over 500 watts. I am hoping I just got a lemon. I'll update the review once I contact Giandel and determine the return process.

GIANDEL Pure Sine wave 24 volt inverter Worth the money

We are up grading from a cheap Home Depot 12 volt 750 watt inverter to a Giandel 24 volt inverter for our micro off grid camper. We had been using a low cost 12 volt inverter of 750 watts modified sine wave with one AGM 12 volt lead acid battery. So our new system will be this new Giandel 2000 watt 24 volt pure sine wave inverter with multiple lithium batteries connected in series to obtain 24 volt. Install a 24 volt to 12 volt step down for our 12 volt items. I was recommended this Giandel inverter by several notable solar power specialist, It has been said many times that Giandel is a very durable and dependable unit. I will buy Giandel again in the future for other projects

Works Well, clean A.C. Power

This is my second identical unit. Its easy to use, works well and is well made. It pulls more idle current that I anticipated but that can be anticipated in future designs. The remote start/stop is nice. as is the display. It would be great if you could remote the readouts and if there were another way to pull the A.C. power other than the two outlets as I am a little worried about pulling that much wattage from a duplex outlet. It would also be great if you could sync the inverters together to get 240V from the pair. I'd buy a third unit if I needed to.
