Read the instructions. When I attached it to my battery, the battery still read 8.5 volts. After turning the ignition switch, the vehicle still wouldn't start. I'm thinking that with the leads attached to the battery, the voltage should read at least 12 volts. The I remembered the instructions saying that a blinking green light means the battery voltage is too low and the BOOST button should be pressed and the vehicle started within 30 seconds of pressing the BOOST button. Having a storage container fir the unit is great rather than a lot if loose stuff rolling around. Capacity is good for starting CCA’s. My only gripe is that it dies not come with a USB plug for charging.

I used the Jump Starter Box today for the first time. We were starting an ‘05 Scion that had been sitting for more than 5 years. I hooked up the Jump Starter, and the car cranked and started within seconds. The battery was in such bad shape, the car wouldn’t idle without the Jump Starter connected. This thing works very very well. I love the compact size. It started my diesel truck easily. My friend needed a jump and his battery was complement dead because it wasn't charging... Used the power boost mode and it worked effortlessly... No need for jumping cables. Oh.. and it charges very fast.
