Corelle is always fabulous! Great everyday dishes.
Color: Sadie
These dishes are lovely. Corelle is always good quality, easy to clean, wears well, lightweight, and sturdy. They are the best everyday dishes and I’ve owned several sets over the years. I was thrilled to find this pattern because it goes with some cafe curtains I just put up in my kitchen. I appreciate that they did not come with cups and saucers, which just end up taking up space as I don’t use them often. This pattern has a bonus in that you could use them for Christmas or Valentine’s Day dinners (but they don’t really look like holiday dishes). They’re affordable enough that if you get tired of the pattern after a few years you could buy a different set. The only drawback (for some) is that the bowls are just regular size, so if you enjoy eating a humongous bowl of soup or cereal, they may not be the best option for you. I do wish they came in service for four or eight. I really only need eight, but they’re sold in service for six, so I bought two and now have service for 12. 🤷🏻♀️

Very good, light plates
Color: Ocean Blue
It is Corelle! The colors are uniform and look great. It is very scratch resistant. I used to have very heavy stoneware plates. These are much lighter and easier to use. They do not retain heat the way my stoneware dishes did which makes microwaving on these much less painful. Storage is easier because these are thinner. I have never gone wrong with Corelle.

Corelle Vitrelle 18-Piece Set: Unbreakable, Unmatched, and Unforgettable
Color: Winter Frost White
This Corelle Vitrelle 18-Piece Dinnerware Set has become my kitchen superhero, and I wish I could give it more stars. I stumbled upon them in the most unexpected way – on clearance due to a return. Little did I know that this accidental find would lead to a deliberate search for the same durability when furnishing my Airbnb. Living in a house full of not-so-careful boys – one of whom treats computers like disposable gadgets – I was on the hunt for dinnerware that could withstand the chaos. Enter Corelle, and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. This set is practically invincible. The triple-layer-strong glass plates and bowls have put an end to the constant chip and crack saga that haunted my previous dinnerware. I was skeptical at first, given the track record of breakages in my household, but Corelle held its ground. Not a single dish has succumbed to the clumsiness of my boys, and that's saying something. My favorite incident involved one of my sons unintentionally testing their resilience by leaving a plate in the danger zone between the car seat and the door. It took a fall, hit the asphalt, and my heart sank. But lo and behold, the only casualty was a tiny chip. That plate is still part of the set, proudly showing its battle scar. The classic design, crisp aesthetics, and timeless beauty effortlessly blend with any kitchen environment. Beyond their durability, these dishes are incredibly lightweight, making handling and stacking a breeze. They're a lifesaver when it comes to saving cabinet space, taking up only half the room of ceramic dishes. And let's talk about maintenance – a dream. Hygienic, non-porous, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe – cleaning up has never been this hassle-free. Speaking of perks, they don't get as hot as my previous dishes in the microwave. A small detail, but one that adds to the overall charm. Their timeless beauty hasn't faded a bit since the day I bought them years ago. In conclusion, these dishes have not just met but exceeded my expectations. They've become an integral part of our daily life, surviving the chaos and adding a touch of elegance to our table. Corelle, you've won my heart – and my kitchen. 🍽️

Triple Play Home Run!
Color: Ocean Blue
I’m reviewing three items I purchased separately hoping they would work together as a set. They did!! These are dishes for my daughter’s new apartment that has very little cabinet space so her stoneware set is just too bulky. So I decided to pick up some Corelleware since it is durable, compact and lightweight. I really thought I would find some items that might “work” together, but never imagined I’d find EXACTLY the right shades of blue to match everything. I guess the Household Goods Gods were smiling on me that day! #1 - Corelle 18-Piece Service for 6, Chip Resistant, Ocean Blues Dinnerware Set, These round plates and bowls have a modern yet playful rows of dots along the edge in three shades of blue including navy, periwinkle and teal. The plate itself is bright white. The bowls have a navy blue rim. (In the Amazon pictures it looks black, but it truly does look blue in person.) I have used Corelle dishes for over 30 years and my only complaint is that they last FOREVER! LOL! I mean I love a good value, but I it’s hard to justify spending $$ on “new” dishes when the ones you have still look as good as the day you bought them. Nonetheless, after buying these for my daughter, I am eyeing a new set for myself. #2 Sweese 6210 Porcelain Fluted Mugs - 14 Ounce for Coffee, Tea, Cocoa, Set of 6, Cold Assorted Colors . Since the Corelle set did not come with coffee mugs, I looked for some blue ceramic mugs and found these beauties! And, I’m thrilled to report that they complement the Ocean Blues dishes perfectly! (See photo). These are stoneware coffee mugs with an elegant fluted side. The insides is white - not cream or beige. The white is not as bright as the Corelle dishes, but close enough. The mugs have a good weight to them - but not heavy or clunky. Of course they are not Corelleware, and will probably not hold up forever, but they seem to be sturdy to withstand normal use. The color I ordered says “Assorted” and it arrived very well packaged. Each mug inside a bubble wrap back and in its own compartment in a sturdy cardboard box. As I said, the colors go very well with Ocean Blues dinnerware. Only one mug appears a bit more green than blue - but it’s still in the blue color family. Overall, I LOVE these mugs and at about $4.50 each, they were a bargain! #3 Cafe 20-ounce Break-Resistant Plastic Restaurant-Style Beverage Tumblers | Set of 16 in 4 Coastal Colors. To round out my daughter’s dish set, she needed cups for cold drinks as well. She is in college so I wanted unbeakable glasses - but not Tupperware-like plastic. I searched for acrylic drinkware and found these gems. I hadn’t planned on getting 16 cups, but at $1 each, I could not pass these up. They are exactly as their description reads - very much like the glasses used by little mom & pop diners- slightly bumpy texture on the outside with smooth rims and insides. Of course the BEST thing about them for me, was that came in shades of blue that coordinate so well with both the Corelle Ocean Waves and the coffee mugs! Seriously, these dishes look like I bought them as a set together. I really lucked out with these glasses - each in a different shade of blue that just happens to match the Ocean Blues. (Actually, one of the colors is really more of a smoky charcoal. I plan to keep those for my husband to use out in his workshop so he doesn’t keep taking my glass glasses out there.) These cups hold 20 ounces but don’t look or feel huge. After you add 6-8 ices cubes, you can pour a whole 12 ounce can of soda in the cup without it getting to over-flow level.

Carell dishes are so nice, perfect size and light weight. Packaging was perfect. Not one chip and you know they took a rough ride. Very happy with my purchase.
