Since I only had a single, one-button remote left and two garage doors, I came to Amazon to see what my options were. Since the Genie-branded remote was reasonably priced, I bought two that where delivered the next morning. While the documentation and reviews said it was easy to program, I was skeptical. News Flash: It is so easy to program. Just get the remote out of the box and a step stool or ladder to reach your garage door opener. Press the program button on the opener, pull the battery tab on the remote and then slowly press the button you want programed twice. You have 30 seconds to do so. IT WORKS! Pairing on this remote was easy and straight forward, took about 15 seconds to pair. The buttons are smooth and easy to identify each of the 3 buttons. I love it, opens garage from 2 houses away. I had to be in the driveway with the old one new battery or not. Buttons are soft like others have said but that doesn’t bother me. Looks better than the old one too.
