I will start this review off by saying I am not quite sure which garage door opener I have aside from it is a newer (within the last 10yrs) Chamberlain, but the instructions made it extremely easy to set up without knowing my exact model number. I set this up two months prior to my review, and it has been a great way to get into my home when my husband or I am not driving a personal vehicle home with a garage door remote. Setting it up was fairly painless, and took less than five minutes. Unfortunately, the screws that do come with this opener are lower quality and may strip. I would suggest using slightly higher quality screws instead of the ones it comes with. It looks nice, but it's also small enough it can be kind of concealed. At the current price point, I really wouldn't hesitate on buying this opener.

10/8/25 I installed the keypad in May 2025. It stopped sending the code to the door opener in September. I tried reprogramming several times and even reset the keypad to factory default without results. I reached out to the vendor via the Amazon email address for assistance. The vendor responded timely with three questions which I answered. Then nothing. Happy I only spent $21.00 for this keypad. I replaced it with another brand which was $45.00. Easier to program and works great.

Honestly, I was surprised this worked so well right out of the gate. I was able to program two completely brand of different openers, one for a Lift Master Gate, and the second for a Overhead Door garage door opener. Even though the two openers do NOT have the same security technology, I was able to program 2 different buttons on this remote for the two different openers. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that the battery is a small CR2032 which doesn't have a lot of power, so you do need to be somewhat near the openers for it to work.

I needed an opener that would open the newer style garage door openers, and the old DIP switch model for my Butler building. I couldn't get either one of these work. Someone in another review said to email the email address listed in the instructions and that person was very helpful. I had to do this for both style garage openers. Both work as they should. The only thing I don't like about the opener are when it's attached to the visor, the 3 buttons to open your garage door opener are at the back of the opener, not the front like most other openers. I'm thrilled that I found an opener that worked on 2 different kinds/types of openers. Being it does work with both openers and the email support was really good, I'm giving it 5 stars.

Whenever reaching the step in setting up my orange light chamberlain it kept beeping one long beep continuously instead of beeping five times as the programming stated it would and should. Instead it had me repeat one process three times before getting 5 beeps and still did not follow its operating function.
