Easy install. I had read some reviews saying that it took someone all day to install this. Normal 2 car garage door installed in 2 hours. I had to remove the over head controller as well. Easy stuff. Chamberlin has some videos if you search the part number on youtube. I watched it once all the way through and went to the garage and knocked it out. It's basically the same great opener as the RJO70 that it replaced except the cable tension switch is gone. For some reason, they decided not to include the installation instructions in the manual. Not sure how your supposed to know where to hook the switch and sensor wires. Lucky for me, I've already installed two of these and they're the same as the older model. ... show more

    • Quiet and full of features
The installation instructions is lacking. You need common sense and an understanding of how it works to get through the process. It took me two hours to install, not including the time to remove the old unit. You MUST plug the light in to enable the WiFi function for smart phone use. If the light doesn’t come on when the door operates, go to the push button wall unit and press the Light button. It will activate the light. When going through set up, read and follow the directions. The directions are correct. People seem to have a problem following the steps. Go slowly. Overall, I am very pleased with the unit and how it functions. Some complain that you only get one car remote. The purpose of the WiFi feature allows phone connectivity. You don’t need a car remote. If the opener ever opens or closes very slowly, there is nothing wrong. You lost power and it is running on the internal battery backup. Restore power to the receptacle. ... show more
