Have had this in my house for about four months, did a self install which was a challenge as a single person. Honestly don’t know how I lived without it. It opens quickly, is pretty quiet overall and I love the choices of being able to open it with my phone or using the homelink in my car. I have the opener in my car for emergencies but haven’t used it much. Overall very easy to use and not impossible to install alone. Quality overall seems worth what I paid, I was thrilled to catch this on sale and gain the ability to park my car inside with ease. Not sure about long term durability but after many months I have not had any issues even once. My only complaint is how quickly the light turns off, this is using my only power source in my garage so I do end up in the dark unless I walk to the sensors and move in front of them. This brand is fair better than the old Craftsman opener. Easy to install and the chain drive was surprisingly quieter than the screw drive. The remote came programmed in the box which save effort. Good buy..

I bought this exact opener because the reviews said it was easy to install. It was anything but easy. This is coming from a person who has never installed one before, knows squat about these things. I did not know that professionals were writing the reviews. Once I got the opener up the directions to actually program it are impossible to understand. At this point, I have to press and hold the button on the wall until the garage door is down for a minute before I let go of the button or else the door goes right back up. Style: Chain Drive 500 with WiFi
I had a lightning storm take out my original garage door opener, and this kit was a direct replacement. The fit was perfect and just dropped in to the old space. I found out by troubleshooting that I also had to replace the sensors, which came in the pack. I kept the chain and the track from the original. (I'll keep the new ones as a backup) This was extremely easy to do and the programming was very easy as well. I think my son and I took about an hour to replace the motor and sensors. (I used some old wire to suspend the existing chain sprocket when in pulled the old motor out.) The instructions are clearly written and all you have to do is tell it how far down and how far up to go. It seems like it works better than the original did, but that's probably because I tightened the chain using instructions. This kit also included the wire for the sensors. The estimates for replacements were a minimum of $500 so this was a fantastic value. I put a surge protector in line with the garage door opener so this will not happen again.
