I thought I liked my old thatched umbrellas until I received this one. Now I want to replace them all! I love the shape of it, it's much heavier than my others, and the vent at the top is very effective in keeping the umbrella stable when a storm blows in. The crank is nice and easy to use, instead of the pin type that I struggle to raise on my own with the other ones. The faux straw is thick and layered so it doesn't show the umbrella fabric underneath, unlike my old ones. I love the thicker ribs, and the included lights. The light switch on the pole is convenient, and the round inconspicuous solar panel on the top center is clever. If I had any complaints, it would only be that I would prefer a warm white light instead of the bluish color. All in all, it's perfect and I received it days earlier than they promised.

Hi , I Purchased this Umbrella..a few months ago. spring 2024. was really happy to get it .. it was beautiful large and had lights ..I needed a handle type to roll up ..my former umbrella..simlar to this had a pin, but was hard to manage with one person, had it for 8 years it was time.. So...I was SHOCKED to realize ..my brand new umbrella was shedding!!! not just a little ALOT ..falling off with the touch of your hand ..not to mention..all over in my POOL..nightmare!!! its like a 500lb Cat shedding in your pool its a mess. Just never never again...so dissapointed.

Love love this umbrella & solar light! I purchased it to go with a patio table set at my camper site and I get compliments all the time. The solar light is a good feature but it is more of an accent light, which is fine for us.

I bought this in December when the price was right. It’s cute, the solar lights are nice, but the summer sun has melted the plastic shag tiki grass. I’m not through the season but it will not be any good for the next season. Bummer.

Beware- this does not come with the center light, despite the description. Seller credited a portion of umbrella for this. AND then the entire umbrella came apart. The "thatch" all gave way at the same time. What a MESS! All over the pool. Clogged the filter. So sad b/c I loved the tropical vacation vibe of this umbrella but don't fall for it, it will fall apart. Only got to use for 3 1/2 mos. Now it's summer and I have no shade. A waste of money and a pain to clean up.
