  • 5 years of use exposed to weather and daily use
Size: 6L without Pump Set
Purchased in 2021, its January 2026, still works, however I had connected outside in a 4x4 post in the rain and sun, dust leaves you name it, so purchasing another one because got little rusty, this was daily used as a mobile home water heater with 3 people using wile building my house, not a single problem, changed batteries once thats it, I use 2 30lbs propane bottles per month this is in florida so no need to have extreme hot water. Great product buying again. ... show more

  • Top Notch Customer Support
Size: 6L without Pump Set
The last Gasland heater worked great until we let it freeze and broke the heat exchanger. The new purchase did not work, but the return was easy and the second unit works like a charm. This is a small offgrid campsite with an RV water pump running an outdoor shower. If one can get clean, one can be cool! The water flow control goes from almost zero to higher than the pump can push. This allows one to dial in the water flow so that the pump does not cycle. Water heating can be much hotter that one can comfortably stand. Great water heater. Just remove it in the winter to a heated area. ... show more

  • Great midrange volume portable water heater
Size: 10L without Pump Set
Unit works well. Wish it had a on/off switch. Easy setup love that this unit comes with all brass fittings! Originally wanted the 16l unit as I need a lot of pressure with my hot water, but it wouldn't have arrived in time. 2.64 gpm is good for showers and some dishwashing. But the 4.22 gpm is really what I wanted. Outdoor prep kitchen that uses a Water hose for washing dishes you tend to miss the pressure at 2.64gpm... other than that I love the unit. Send me the big one, and Ill happily give a another review!!! ... show more

  • Workhorse
Size: 6L without Pump Set
Company has been great, I’ve bought 3 of these water heaters. One needed a replacement part which they sent free of charge and included easy to follow instructions. Another was replaced under warranty. These are workhorses!

  • Product quality concerns
Size: 6L without Pump Set
One star for customer service and but mostly quality control. Originally bought item and used 1 time at home to test and it worked. Went camping and it wouldn't work. Igniter went bad during the drive. No way of telling how/why it went bad. Had to use a lighter to spark the propane. Customer service refunded after an long drawn out process. Tried to get replacement parts and no joy. Bought a second unit and will be testing it in Sept on my next trek. We will see if it holds up. For those questioning why I bought it again. Do your research, the parts are incredibly similar to the $600 instant camping heaters. This product is a copy cat of all others. So why pay more?? I would have to go thru 4 of these to equal the cost of a "better" more costly product. Do the math! ... show more

  • Must Have for off grid
Size: 6L with Pump Set
This thing is a must have for off grid living. Mine had an issue but customer support did send a replacement. AS long as its above freezing outside I can have a hot tub in winter, off grid!

  • Last 5.5 years
Size: 6L without Pump Set
This lasted exactly 5.5 years. I used it full time RVing for a year as our primary water heater on our new property. Then we used it for summer outdoor showers and to heat our off grid hot tub for the last 2 winters. It sprung a leak up towards the top, not from freezing, so I'm sure the bromine corroded the line and caused a leak. I ordered another one and hopefully the quality hasn't changed. I did notice half a decade later the shower head now has a quick disconnect fitting so hopefully I can remove that to connect to my hot tub pex lines. I have a pump sending the water through the heater then back into the tub. The pump is on a digital 120v timer and runs daily for the time I set it. As a side note a decent wind will put out the flame so I made a surround out of 12" aluminum roofing flashing roll I had. I also added about 4 feet of semi rigid (aluminum only) dryer duct to the top to create a draft, like a chimney, to prevent any overheating that may have been turning it off, but I think it was just the wind. ... show more

  • So far it's worked very well.
Size: 6L without Pump Set
So far I really love it. I had a Camplux version of this and it never worked correctly. This one starts quickly, stays lit, and heats up quickly. The digital temperature readout really helps to keep from unknowingly overheating the water and scalding yourself. For $20 more than the Camplux, this thing is amazing. I'm sure the handle helps is you want to carry it around but I have mine mounted to the back door of my van. Therein lies the only improvement I could recommend. The unit can be hang mounted using the five holes in the back plate made for this purpose. The front panel is easily removable, but the back plate--with the holes--is not. So to drill and mount it you have to measure very accurately to match the holes in the back plate. Would be really nice if a simple paper template with the five mounting holes was provided, so you could just trace those holes onto whatever you're mounting the unit. ... show more
