Firstly, good luck trying to get this thing out of the black pouch it comes in. I have no idea how the people in China were able to fold this together and squeeze it in there but once it's out of the bag don't ever expect to use it again. You might as well just throw out the pouch or use it for something else at that point. Secondly, the material seems like it's on the cheap side. I was expecting this to be thicker, it almost seems like a gust of high wind might cause it to start ripping around the edges of the fire pit, only time will tell. I'll update the review in a month of two and we'll see how it is then. Overall, it's doing the job for now. If it holds up by the end of the season I'll keep the review at a 4/5 star; standby. ... show more

We had rain on and off this week and I'd turn on my fire pit at night when it was dry enough. When I'd lift up the cover, there was water sitting on the table. I made sure that the table was completely dry before replacing the cover and the table would continue to be wet when I'd check to see if the table stayed dry. I don't want my table to rust! Not even 2 months old and the color has gone from black to a purple color Only where the sun hits it. Very disappointed with this cover. Have had others and never change color like this.

I purchased this based on the high reviews. First thoughts were "high quality, liked the color, nice product, glad I chose it". Within a month the black had faded to gray but I could live with the color change as the product did a great job of keeping the weather out. Went to take the cover off this past weekend and found it had split across the top. At first I thought maybe an object had caught it and ripped it but found nothing. I checked the fire table for knicks/scratches/gouges but found none. It appears that the material broke down and just split. I am highly disappointed as I was looking for a quality product that would last thru more than one season. I pull my furniture in every fall so it is not sitting out in the snow. I am careful when taking covers on/off - no pulling or yanking. And during the summer months, my fire table sits on a deck that is 15 feet off the ground and is sheltered by the house. Unfortunately I would not recommend this product to someone who may be looking for a cover that will last thru more than one season. ... show more

    • The drawstring is terrible, and the material is thinner than it looks in pictures

Material is much thinner than it looks in pictures. The fitment is pretty good, but the real drawback is the drawstring. Ideally you’d be able to pull it and cinch the bottom around the legs of your fire pit to keep it from blowing away, unfortunately this drawstring is super thin, and when you pull on it with any force, it will bunch up a couple of inches of material right around where the drawstring comes out, but it won’t pull the rest of the material around the cover tight at all. I fear if I pull any harder it’s just going to tear either the string or the cover itself. When this one wears out in a year or so as I predict it inevitably will, I won’t buy the same one again. ... show more

Received the product on May 31, 2020 and it looked great. It acme in its original color (black), but now less then two months later it looks horrible. Not only has the color went from black to brown on the sides , and tan on the top, there are also rips in the fabric. I do not reccommend!

This fire pit cover is NOT WATERPROOF! It is wrong to claim that it is. The cover is only waterproof until it rains. Once it rained the cover allowed some of the moisture to get through the fabric. This cover is properly classified as water RESISTANT, not waterproof. The quality of the material seems very good and might hold up to weather. But if you look closely, the fabric is tightly woven, but the cover's material has nothing to prevent all moisture landing or simply sitting on the cover from getting through the top. We wanted waterproof and will be shopping for another fire pit cover. ... show more

    • Worked perfectly for our Fire Table

Well made with durable fabric and reinforced stitches at the seams. It's been through 3-4 massive summer downpours and the table has remained dry underneath. I'm hoping the fabric doesn't fade as it is exposed to direct sunlight for 4-6 hours per day, but time will tell. I will say that it is a "tight" fit, so make sure that you give yourself an inch on the length and width so it is not incredibly difficult to cover the table.
