This in my first metal hose. I didn’t realize just how light these hoses really are. It’s easy to pull off the reel and move around. And, no kinks! The inside diameter is smaller than my other hoses, so the flow is reduced, but ease of use when high flow isn’t needed makes the hose a winner.

The 100ft Stainless Steel Garden Hose from Goidentity is a good value at $39.99. ✅ Like all stainless steel hoses, this brand benefits from a build structure that's virtually kink- and puncture-free. ✅ Stainless steel hoses are also lightweight and highly maneuverable when being pulled over, under, around, or between obstacles. The hose glides like butter. ❗️Despite the many benefits, stainless steel hoses are smaller in diameter compared to “standard” rubber or hybrid hoses. Specifically, most (if not all) stainless steel hoses have an inside diameter (I.D.) of approximately 1/2-inch, compared to 5/8-inch for rubber and hybrids. The smaller I.D. could impact certain high water volume applications. However, truth be told, I’ve never noticed a difference. ❗️Another property of stainless steel hoses that new users might notice, and possibly not with a smile, is what I call "coil memory". That is, the hose "wants" to be coiled or wrapped a certain way, and requires twisting the hose at times to relax the memory. If this simple rule is not obeyed, the hose will twist into a knot, or knots, depending on how much twist is involved. If using a hose reel to store the hose, coil memory isn't a problem. Because the hose remains neutral (i.e. doesn't twist) when wrapping. Plus the end with the nozzle is free to rotate if any twist does get involved. This behavior is similar to the way hybrid hoses behave, but not nearly as bad. In fact, coil memory is the reason I put my high-end hybrid hose into storage, because I got tired battling the twisted mass of knots. ⭐️ At any rate, the Goidentity is a solid stainless steel hose. But that's not all. The spray gun nozzle 🔫 that’s included is remarkably good for being plastic. Most that I encounter are junk, with poor/leaky spray patterns and sloppy triggers. Not the one that comes in this package. I included a video of the spray patterns because I liked them so much. The gun has a nice firm trigger, and the overall feel is quality. So I’m pretty confident the spray gun won't fall to pieces after just one season. If you're thinking of going stainless steel, I encourage you to give this brand a close look. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This stainless steel wrapped garden hose far exceeded my expectations. It is a lot lighter than I expected, compared to a regular plastic garden hose. It is also a lot easier to coil and carry, as the coiled hose is more compact than a similar plastic hose. True to the description, it does not kink. This is very useful to me and my gardening partner, as we use the hose to water plants on a deck that is a floor above the water spigot. We have some of the hose coiled on a rack, and the rest going up to the deck. It's easy to drag the hose to water the pots from one end of the deck to the other. As it's light, it's also easier to hook it to something to keep it from slithering down to the ground. Our plastic hose often twisted and kinked below us, and was very unwieldy to maneuver the length of the 50-foot deck. We found the "10 Function Nozzle" to be fine. It is similar to the nozzles that are available at discount stores and garden centers. The handle shuts the water off when not being squeezed, and it does not leak. Even the better nozzles do not last more than a few seasons. A bonus was the included package of 4 rubber washers! I used one in another hose connector to stop a leak which other new plastic washers could not. Also nice that there was not any extra packaging. Shipping label was right on the hose box. We'll have to see how long the PVC tube inside the metal lasts, as it can't be made into shorter hoses or repaired with a hose connector as the plastic ones can. I think we'll order another!

The media could not be loaded. I have a lot of gardens around my home and they need to be watered. I recently started to use the stainless steel hoses and have really become a fan because they are light-weight and easy to pull over the ground. When I saw the Goidentity metal garden hose 100ft 304 stainless steel hose wwith 10 function spray nozzle I decided to give it a try. PIC1 (I have labeled each picture in the upper right corner because they never appear in the same order that I add them to the review) shows the main pieces you get which includes a 100ft 304 stainless steel hose, and an all plastic nozzle and a set of 4 extra washers. PIC2 shows the female end (hose input) and PIC3 shows the male end (hose output). The grip portion leading to the end of the hose does not rotate. Only the female end portion that screws onto the spicket turns to make it easy to attach. If you look at PIC2 and PIC3 you can see that the hole the water goes through is significantly smaller than the 3/4 GHT (garden hose thread) portion. It is difficult to measure the hole exactly because it is inset from the end but it is probably 1/4 to 3/8 inches diameter. I have a flow meter which I attached to the output of the spicket and it showed a flow rate of 6.6 gallons/minute. When I attached the hose and then put that same flow meter on the output of the hose it read 4.3 gallons/minute. Stainless steel has excellent resistance to corrosion, is very durable, flexible and does not kink. Because it is so flexible you can easily coil it up into a small circle and it will "unwind" without any memory or the last position it was in. It is also very light, weighing only 10.61 pounds (this is a 100 foot hose). I hooked the hose up and it did not leak or drip at either end. The all plastic spray nozzle offers 10 different spray patterns and has a trigger type flow rate control (off to full). PIC4 has a white arrow which points to a metal "U" shaped metal locking bracket. If you look at PIC5 you will see that when you rotate this back it will engage and hold the flow control lever in the open position (spraying) so you don't have to continue to squeeze the handle. This sprayer has many of the typical spray patterns but my two favorite are "soaker" and "shower". I will use these two settings when watering my plants. In fact I like this nozzle more than one I have on the hose I use the most in my yard (due to its location) and replaced the old nozzle with this new one. So for me what it comes down to is whether or not the small openings restricts the water flow in a way that I cannot do the things I want to do. I have provided a video which shows the hose laying on the driveway and then I turn on a thin stream of water from the nozzle so you can see how far it goes (being restricted by the 3/8 hose diameter). As you can see, it is a very strong stream of water. For me it will easily do all the things I normally do with a hose. However, you must realize that I would get a 6.6 gallons/minute flow directly from my spicket and get only a 4.3 gallons/minute flow at the end of the hose. If you plan to use the hose in a high pressure application you should consider this. Goidentity metal garden hose 100ft 304 stainless steel hose with 10 function spray nozzle is both light weight and durable. The 100 ft Goidentity garden hose is capable of doing all the things I normally do and I don't think the smaller inner diameter (reduces flow) will negatively impact any of the things I normally do with a garden hose.
