I just set up this hose today. 30ft. I'm using it as a constantly-pressurized water hose for my evap cooler with a sump float. When it didn't have pressurized water in it, it twisted and folded. I think it could get kinks easily; especially if you live in a hot climate or unwind it with no or low water pressure. I can't speak to its longevity yet, but the coupling heads seem to be firm and well-made. Time will tell if its a good hose, especially since it has to survive our Arizona heat, sun, and very hard water. ... show more

It's holding up so far! I've been using it, no problem. But clumsy me, I was trying to get it to a certain place in my yard and the hose hit a Yucca plant spine thing and made a hole in it, so I had to patch it. But for light duty,it's just fine!

For my purpose this is a good hose at a great price. I am using it as a 'bridge hose' connecting other hoses to reach distant parts of my property. I would not use it as the working end hose because of the aluminum fittings. Aluminum fittings are fine as long as you are not constantly attaching sprinklers or sprayers which causes the threads to wear out. For that brass fittings are superior though more costly. ... show more
