I used this for the first time and I must admit I didn't have very high hopes for this hose but I was very surprised. I have a rather large home garden and I need a 100ft hose to reach the far side of the garden. I was amazed at just how light weight and easy to maneuver this hose was. So much easier than the heavy rubber hoses, especially when it is a little cold outside, which makes the rubber hoses stiff. I highly recommend this hose. Regarding the spray nozzle: I actually like this as well. Many nozzles don't have a setting that is actually helpful for watering a garden but this one does. It also come with a shutoff valve.

Though not as sturdy as some other flexible/expandable hoses this garden hose still does a respectable job and the multifunction nozzle is almost worth the purchase alone. When coiling up the hose to store it, either on a hanging hose holder or simply in a circle near an outdoor faucet, the hose may still need to be untwisted, which should only take a few minutes to do. The 50-foot length also is convenient if you need the extra length to reach your driveway to wash a car or truck and should provide ample length to pull the hose around the vehicle to rinse every side.

I love this lightweight garden hose. For 100 ft, it's nice and light and easy to drag around the garden. My outdoor faucet is brass, so having a brass connection on this hose will ensure that I don't have any corrosion at the connection point like you would get by connecting aluminum to brass. The sprayer is good quality and has a comfortable grip. I like that it is non-expanding as my previous hose was an expanding hose and it would get scraped on the corner of the house while it was either expanding or shrinking which led to its eventual tear. Good value here. Recommend.

On the plus side, this is a very easy to manage hose. Even though it is 100 foot, it weighs next to nothing when fully coiled. It's also easy to coil and highly resistant to kinking. On the down side, the build quality is so-so at best. The fittings are metal, but appear to be aluminum rather than brass (based on the weight/heft). The threading is not terribly smooth. The connection points of the hose to the fittings is not ideal, with a very small and flimsy strain relief sleeve. The flow volume is below average even when compared with similar style hoses. The narrow diameter of the hose overall, and the narrow internal connection points on the ends have a significant impact on flow volume. Grated, these types of hoses will never have the volume you'd get from a conventional 5/8 hose (and a fraction of a 3/4 hose) but this is below par even for this style. It's fine if you need low volume for tasks such as careful watering of new plants, but for tasks such as washing vehicles, outdoor furniture, patios, etc., the low flow rate is problematic. The included nozzle is cheap but mostly functional. As with any similar type of hose, either expandable or not, it's important to release the water pressure once you're done using the hose. Keeping it at pressure for extended periods will result in damage to the hose. This is an OK hose for light use, but the cons -- even in comparison with similar styled hoses at about the same price point -- makes this an average value at best. Three stars.

This new generation non-expandable hose is a game changer. It's three times lighter than its predecessor, and much easier to maneuver around the yard. It's extremely flexible, and fits perfectly on my metal hose rack, and best of all, it doesn't kink! I like that not only is this hose lightweight, but it is also strong, with a five layer latex core with a high-density polyester outer layer that, along with the solid alloy connectors, ensures durability. Pipe tape and two spare gaskets are thoughtfully included with the hose and nozzle. The included spray nozzle boasts an impressive10 different spray patterns, all clearly marked around the perimeter of the sprayer. This spray nozzle makes this hose perfect for everything from watering delicate plants to washing the car.

To be honest my first impressions are a little low, but it does seem to be built decently enough. You can get a 100 foot medium duty water hose for the same price, so I will try to keep my bias to a minimum. This is a 3/8 or 1/2 inch rubber tube with an outer woven polyester cover that allows the inner rubber hose to expand into the outer cover. It's the outer cover that protects the inner hose from abrasion or puncture. I have to give this more use over the summer and will be keeping an eye on: Water flow. Release of plasticizer on use after sitting with water in it. (foamy water) Likelihood or resistance to kinking. Abrasion resistance. Leaks at connecting joints.

This hose is great as it’s very lightweight and has a 100 ft. length. It will easily be the one hose to water all my backyard pots and landscaping plants. It was easily installed with no leakage, so I didn’t need to use the included Teflon tape. The sprayer that came with it works great and has 10 settings.

This is a great water hose.Very light weight especially when filled with water.The water flow is good.Easy to move around and to store.Not sure how weather resistant it is but it seems like I will get quite some years of use with this.Price is good.
