The Furrytail litter box came well-packaged and was easy to install. It only needs a power plug and home wifi to connect to your cell phone. The buttons on the base is good enough to perform basic cleaning and emptying functions. It would pause rotating when something gets too near or jumps into the box, so pretty safe for our curious cat! The body and base feel sturdy but not bulky. You can use more advanced functions using their APP, like remote-cleaning, set a cleaning schedule, see your pet's history. Not very fancy but it's a simple and straightforward app for the litter box.

A good litter robot to ease up the daily cleaning routine. Automated litter collection like any litter robots would do but with some extra features. Things to love: - Good aesthetic. To me, it’s probably one of the best looking litter robot currently on the market. It has a backlight which you can control the brightness via phone app. - Some useful smart features. It has a built in weight scale, which is able to weigh the cats while they are using it. You can setup a profile for each of your cats and the app can track each cat’s weight and litter box usage. You can also choose how long to wait before the it cleans up to give the litter enough time to p. - Easy to clean. The drum is removable and the structure is fairly simple so pretty easy to clean. There’s a water drainage on the back of the drum can be used to drain water. The base has wheels on it so you can move it around easily without lifting it up. - Package comes with a urine guard that can be attached to the entrance. A very lovely accessory for me because one of my cats loves to keep her butt up while she pees. Some thoughts: - Wish there’s a schedule feature for the backlight. Currently you can only toggle it on and off manually. Would be nice if I can have it turned on only during the night. - You might want to use litter other than the tofu type. The longer grain makes it harder to be sifted. When using tofu litter, I’m seeing quite a lot clean litter in the litter bag even when using the large litter sifter, which adds up the cost. - App’s tracking feature can be buggy sometime. Giving the build quality and the feature it’s providing, overall I think it has great value for the price.

This has gotten my cat to actually use the litter box. However, it does not contain the smell very well. Still would recommend and actually bought a second to replace my upstairs box. Love the app as well and how it tracks the cats usage by weight of the cat.

The app stopped working overnight. The litterbox disconnected and refuses to reconnect even if I power cycle, factory reset, etc. I am effectively blocked off from the smart features for good, and now I'm getting ready to return this expensive piece of garbage. Update: after hours of doing the exact same things over and over again, I got it to connect by... doing the same exact things I've been doing for hours. Wow. Best part? Everything works except the record keeping. No tracking for my cats or a cleaning log, at all. Considering this is a smart product and I am paying extra for those features, it's a brick until something changes. I'll see if I can fix it but I will absolutely return this in a few days if I can't. Do better, furrytail.

First things first, this thing is huge! Especially if you’re limited in space. With that being said, the machine itself works wonderfully, my cat took to it immediately (which was surprising because she’s afraid of everything). The function of the machine definitely helps with having to frequently clean litter but depending on the kind or size of the litter you have, it may be a hassle to refill it. For example, if you buy the big box or bucket, those are generally wider than the opening and you risk spilling litter trying to get it inside the machine. The biggest issue for me though is the app…there’s no multiuser experience so you’re left with sharing a login but if another person logs in, you’re kicked out. For some reason, even though I put in my cats name and info, it still won’t recognize her and just shows a question mark when it reports the daily usage. So I have to manually assign each interaction and it shouldn’t be that hard considering there’s only one cat. The app needs a major overhaul in functionality and user experience.

We love this automatic litter box! We tried the Litter-Robot a few years ago and it just wasn’t a good fit for our family. I’ve been looking for a different type of automatic litter box ever since, and this one has been perfect. Why we love it: •Solid construction and great quality materials. •Works perfectly with Pretty Litter, which our cats prefer (and it’s way less dusty, a big plus for our family). It even comes with a smaller grate that helps with this type of litter. •The higher entrance and included shield are super helpful, one of our cats doesn’t always turn around, and this keeps everything inside instead of on the floor. •Much more reasonably priced than other automatic boxes. •Easy-to-use, helpful features. •If you change the bag every week or so, the smell is way better than with a regular litter box. The enclosed drum design really makes a difference. I haven’t had to clean it yet, but it looks easy, a quick spray and rinse should do the trick! Highly recommend this litter box!
