After using this Level 2 charger for a while, I can say that once it’s up and running, it performs very well and delivers the fast charging speeds I was hoping for. My EV charges noticeably quicker than with a standard outlet, and having a dedicated home charging station has made daily charging much more convenient. That said, installation was definitely the most challenging part of the process. This is not something I would recommend as a DIY project unless you have significant electrical experience. I ended up having a licensed electrician handle the installation, and I’m glad I did. Given the power requirements, having it professionally installed provided peace of mind and ensured everything was set up correctly and safely. Once installed, the charger itself has been reliable. The 25-foot cable provides plenty of reach, making it easy to park in different positions without worrying about stretching the cord. The display is clear and easy to read, and I like being able to quickly check charging information at a glance. The build quality also impressed me. It feels durable and well constructed, and the weather-resistant design gives me confidence using it in a garage or outdoor environment. The RFID feature is a nice addition, especially for households with multiple drivers or situations where you want a little extra control over access. My only real criticism is the app. It works, but there’s definitely room for improvement. Pairing and setup took more effort than I expected, and the user experience isn’t quite as polished as some other smart devices I’ve used. It’s functional and gets the job done, but I think the software could benefit from some updates to make navigation and setup more intuitive. Even with that minor drawback, the charger itself has performed consistently and reliably. Once everything was installed and configured, it has been solid and a game changer for my EV. Fast charging, solid construction, a long cable, and dependable performance make this an excellent home charging solution. The hardware deserves five stars, and with a few app improvements, it would be even better.

It truly shines during the performance. I can now charge my EV considerably more quickly than I could with a typical Level 1 charger. Things that used to take a long time now seem quick and easy, especially when I need to recharge the battery before leaving. Additionally, it has been remarkably consistent. There have not been any disruptions, power outages, or connectivity issues. I simply plug it in, and it consistently performs as intended. I also think it looks great. The sleek, contemporary style blends in seamlessly with my garage layout without appearing large or out of place. I am certain that it will endure well over time because it feels sturdy and well-made rather being cheap or flimsy. The smart features are one of my favorite aspects. It is quite handy to be able to monitor charging sessions and change settings using the app. It makes it easy to keep track of everything and manage charging around my schedule without having to think too much about it. It is one of those items you do not know you need until you get it. The materials and craftsmanship of this home EV charger, together with the 25-foot charging cord, are outstanding! When not in use, the silicone charging port cover is connected to keep water out. The copper wires inside are labeled so your electrician can connect them easily. Two cute small RFID fobs are included to start the charger and stop unauthorized use in public spaces. The fobs are attractive, comfortable to hold, and come with small bungee strings. If you have an EV and want to be able to charge at home easily and quickly, this is what you need. I have two places that I go back and forth to and have been moving the charger with me. I saw this and thought why not give it a try. The first step was to wire it up. Well this is configured for EU setup in that here in the US you would have a L1,L2 and a Neutral/Ground. This unit wires are labeled with a L1, N and PE. Plust there is what looks like a fourth wire that is cut at the cord. Sorry I did not take a picture of that. So you connect the L1 and N to the hot and the PE to the neutral connection. Ok got it. Then it it is time to get the software, ok done. Now try to configure it. Wow. Confusing is an understatement. No manual or guide as to what you are supposed to do and what everything means. You can download the guide which helps somewhat but not sure. For instance every Tim you go into the bluetooth connection it pops up and tells you to remember the SN. Annoying. Then tried to configure WIFI and after a dozen times I needed up enabling the Guest network and got it working because it does not support WIFI passwords with spaces in it! There are two toggles, one for Plug and Charge and the other for Bluetooth connect charging? I think I can guess the first but the second? Where do the RFID cards come in? Does not mention it anywhere that I can find yet. The other thing I noticed as I was playing with the WIFI and plugging and unplugging the wires were getting really warm and I had not plugged the car in yet. The other thing I did not like was that it defaulted to 48A charging which means you need to connect it to a 60A circuit, Not that common. I wish it had defaulted to nothing and made you set it. REMEMBER: Code says for continuous loads you must select 20% less current than the circuit. Meaning if you have a 50A circuit you must set the unit to 40A. Another thing I noticed is that in the app you can set the temp display to F but the unit itself still shows the temp in C. Maybe it takes a bit to update? What is my conclusion? For my use this is a fine unit and I can probably work around the software issues but it definitely needs some work

This product has been performing exactly as expected and one of its best features is the fast charging capability. It charges quickly and efficiently, making it very convenient for everyday use. Once installed, it works reliably and provides excellent performance. The build quality feels solid, and the overall design is attractive and well-made. It’s a great upgrade that offers both convenience and functionality. My one recommendation is to have it professionally installed rather than attempting a DIY installation. The installation process can be more involved than it appears, and having an experienced installer handle it ensures everything is set up safely and correctly. Overall, this is a high-quality product with excellent fast-charging performance. Once properly installed, it works flawlessly and is well worth the investment. Highly recommended!

I was *so* excited to get this EV charger but I couldn’t even load the software to set it up. I don’t think it is intended for use in the US? The manual is written in English but when you try to get the software, the QR code takes you to a completely different language. If you try to translate, it just shuts down and won’t load. Both my husband and I tried but after an hour quit with frustration. Aside from the software/app situation, the main wiring doesn’t seem to be compatible with the US. It is something we need to get an electrician to deal with. Something we thought we could do has turned into more of a headache and a much more expensive situation. This was not a good purchase for our needs. Not compatible, too complicated, and despite catering towards to US, the software glitches.

This thing charges fast and setup was straightforward. My electrician had it wired up in about two hours, which was quicker than I expected for a hardwired unit. The LCD display is genuinely useful since I can see the charging power and temperature without looking at my car screen. It handles 50 amps with no complaints and my car fills way faster than before. The WiFi app works fine from my garage even with thick walls, and Bluetooth is a nice backup when signal drops. I like that you can schedule off peak charging through the phone to save money. The 25 foot cable reaches just fine in my setup, and RFID cards keep neighbors from using it. It feels solidly built with good weather protection since I mounted it outside under a small overhang. Only real gripe is professional installation is basically mandatory so factor in that extra cost on top of the $250 price tag. The manual could also use more detail and left some questions unanswered during install.
