This is an excellent bench at a reasonable price. It is sturdy, well made and I have no doubt it meets the weight ratings claimed by the manufacturer. There are adjustments on each leg base for leveling so there won’t be any wobble on uneven flooring. The padding is a comfortable thickness and doesn’t have the “cheap” feel of some benches. Installation took about 45 minutes, no problems at all. The hardware is in a “blister” pack so you can see at a glance that you have everything you should have - the numbers corresponding to the instructions are on the bottom of the blister pack so it helps to write the numbers on the top with a sharpie before you begin. The width of the barbell rests is perfect - no sliding your hands around for a wider grip after pushing the bar off the rests. Your barbell needs to be at least 38” between the plate stops to accommodate the width of the barbell rests. Summary: I would recommend this bench in a heartbeat, sturdy and well made, you definitely get your money’s worth.

Being older and out of shape, I wanted a unit I could use that I didn't have to rely on others for assembly, moving, etc. Pros: 1) Small enough where I could get the equipment in the house and put together by myself. 2) The instructions were clearly marked which made assembly less of a chore. 3) Decent enough where you feel like the bench is not going to wobble. Cons: 1) The box was dropped off at my house at 8:20 PM in the dark, while raining, and the delivery driver didn't update the system to let me know it was outside getting wet. I know this has nothing to do with the actual product, but you could run into the same situation that I encountered. 2) I have to take my shoes off before using the leg extension or else my feet will get caught on the floor. My inseam is only 29" so tall users will have even more of an issue. 3) The 2 cushions (for back and butt) should provide more support but are lacking. For the beginner/intermediate, this should work just fine. For my use, this meets my needs and would recommend this product.

Appears to be well made. It was packaged well as can be seen in the photos. Feels strong and sturdy. Easy to assemble. I would recommend to the manufacturer, that they label the package of hardware with the size of the nuts , bolts, and washers. Other than that I am really happy with it.

tl;dr: Well packaged, easy to assemble, all the pieces were there. Sturdy and solid once assembled. Let me start with - I don't recommend putting this together if you have an injured shoulder. HOWEVER, if you're determined (or just as stubborn as I am), it is easily doable, even alone. Tips for assembly: - Mark the package with the bolts with all the part numbers so they are easy to locate and grab when you move from piece to piece (you'll thank me on step 3 for this advice) - Finger tighten all the bolts on a piece to make sure things are lined up BEFORE you tighten everything down. this will help on the uprights. - Make sure everything is aligned per the instructions and make informed choices if you decide not to (I prefer my weights in front rather than on back. so, I made that choice) I assembled this alone this morning and it took me a little under an hour. Prior to assembling, I watched the assembly video and read the instructions. All pieces - including the wrench and hex keys required for assembly - are all included in the package. Everything was received with no damage which just goes to show how well it was packaged. The instructions recommend two people to assemble the bench and it will definitely go faster with two people. IF you want to go it alone, grab your favorite beverage (I took coffee) blast some good music and go to town. As for sturdiness, the whole bench is solid. I currently have 210lbs of plates racked on the back of it and the bench isn't flinching. I have no doubt the o-bar I have coming will also be handled solidly. This is a solid bench that is well constructed and one I expect to use for years to come

I was building my home gym and wanted a bench that offered a few options. With the FLYBIRD Standard Weight Bench, I can do flat benching, incline flys, leg work, and preacher curls all on one piece of equipment. The price was reasonable and assembly was a breeze. It even comes pre-sorted in the box. So when you open it, everything is in the order you need it to be in for quick assembly. I didn't have to dig through the box looking for the next part, it was already in view. The included assembly instructions are great. I also used a video I found on FLYBIRD's YouTube channel. Assembly did take a few hours, but only because I live in Southern Arizona and it's getting hot. So I had to take frequent breaks to cool down. Had I not needed breaks, I probably could have gotten it assembled in an hour or less. It's really that easy.

Hit my first 225 bench with this a while back. I have it set up in my garage and it's pretty durable. My only concern would probably be that you have to be careful when racking during bench because you can easily miss the rack and move it backwards if you're not cautious. I don't use the leg extension/hamstring curl option much because I have another machine for that and because the thing uses those weights with small holes. Otherwise, VERY happy.

Not much to say here except this is exactly what I was envisioning for my living room and it’s completely awesome. I love that it has pegs to store weights and the assembly was easy I did it in one evening while watching a game. I feel this set is well designed and can withstand some abuse. Love it.
