Updated: So, after about 6 or 7 weeks, one light has died after constant use. Granted, they've probably been abused by weather far more than the designers expected, but that's what happened. Maybe we should just say "semi-rugged". After charging, make sure these are not in any kind of direct lighting or they will turn off or become intermittent. These are small and I would not recommend for use in a pool as they'll get pulled right into the filter. I think these would look good in a water feature or fish pond if you have enough of them. There is a nice flicker effect and they'll make nice accents on a patio table but the same could be done with normal battery operated tea lights. Not bad, but make sure these will fit the purpose you've got for them. Quick update to qualify these as rugged. I sort of forgot about the lights and left them in the tub I used for testing. With the temp dropping below freezing and snow building up, these little lights are still at work. ... show more
