Let me start by saying that this dress is beautiful! I did go with another reviewer’s suggestion that it ran big. It didn’t for me. I should have ordered my normal size. That said, I do intend to wear this as a nice dress coat, so not buttoning it is not a problem because I will wear it opened. The fabric is great! It’s fully lined. It has pockets!!!! The buttons are covered. This is a heavy, quality, fabric! This will serve well buttoned as a dress as shown or worn as a costume. Well worth the cost!! Don’t hesitate to buy this!

This dress is beautiful. The workmanship is excellent and matches the quality of a designer dress that cost so much more. It is lined and I can imagine wearing it as both as a dress or a coat since I got the beige/cream color. The fabric and lining make it heavy so I will have to wait for fall /winter to wear it. The XL fit well on me and, being 5’9, the length was perfect. Don’t sleep on this one - it’s an excellent buy and it came perfectly packaged!!!

Love the look and lady like styling, especially for church. But, it’s HUGE!!! I wish we could get more xxs or xs… The fabric is thick and buttons well fastened. I bought both and I’m having the white altered and returning the yellow. It’s not a pretty yellow, it’s drab like a wash cloth that’s seen about a 1000 washes.

Other than the fact that the dress fits large, I cannot understand why this is a “frequently returned item”. The material, the weight, and the fit, other than being a bit big, are fantastic. If they made this dress in an XXS, I’d buy it Immediately!
