I ordered this EV charger for my shop since I am now building an EV and will need to charge them. This is the 2nd EV charger I have installed and was excited to see how this one compared to my ChargePoint unit. Unfortunately right now its just a useless brick mounted on the wall! The actual installation was very straight forward, a metal bracket mounts to the back of the charger to hang it on the wall along with a separate hanger for the charging cable and plug. Once it was installed I downloaded the app, created an account and plugged the charger into the outlet for my welder. The screen lit up with a wait message and I started the "add device" process in the app. I scanned the QR code as instructed and the app comes back with a message "device doesn't exist". I tried this process several times, including entering the Serial # manually and rebooting my phone more than once. After all of this it was time to ask for tech support. I emailed the address provided in the instructions for assistance 4 days ago. In fact now I have reached out to them 3 separate times and still do not have an answer from them. It would be nice to be able to be using the charger instead of thinking about uninstalling and ordering another brand. But instead I find myself with no other choice but to see if a negative review will get someones attention. This is probably a great charger if it configures properly right out of the box, bit if it doesn't, it's absolutely worthless if the company doesn't respond to help fix the issue.

It works ok adapting the J1772 to Type connector. Only teste a few times.

Bought this adapter as the ChargePoint charger had the type 2 connector and my Mercedes EQC400 had the English port. Worked perfectly!

The actual units appears to be really powerful and the long link gives me some adaptability while charging. The crisis cutoff button is great, I want to believe that I never need to utilize it, however I have seen numerous different chargers without something like this. Crisis power shutoff is consistently something worth being thankful for to have. I would agree, ensure you are wiring this in with 50-amp wire and a modern fitting so you overheat nothing. The application and RFID cards is good to have command over the charging, I can likewise give my father by marriage a card and he can charge at whatever point he comes around. Charger costs appear to be all around the guide while glancing around and I feel this one is a fair cost for the choices that are incorporated with the charger, a few comforts can improve things greatly to people. By and large, I'm content with this charger and hope to save me lots of time over the long haul. It was getting dreary having recently the convenient 110v charger that accompanied my EV and would require a significant stretch of time to charge and having an electrical rope associated with is constantly looks terrible. This EV charging unit changes that in a large as it tends to be mounted either inside the carport or outside as it is weather conditions verification. The RFID cards included make it simple to actuate as well as the application that permits you to set the charging times for when the rates are lower assuming that you live in a space that has various rates for constantly. You can have this fitting into a NEMA 14-50 outlet or can be designed as I have for a permeant establishment right external my carport as that is my typical spot of stopping. This is just a KHONS 40A charger with a YouwoAuto sticker on it. You can see that in the model number of KHONS-WB-10SPSW. This obviously can be controlled with the KHONS app. This is currently being used as a home charger, but my plan is to install this in the parking lot of an apartment complex I own. It looks like you can add more RFID cards via the app. There are three included, but my brilliant relatives already lost two of them. Joy. What I want to do is give all my tenants an RFID card, so they can charge in the parking lot if they want. I could install a charger without RFID, but then the whole neighborhood would be charging their EVs there. As far as a home charger goes, this works just fine. It's definitely a bit overcomplicated for plain home use. I prefer the plug in and you're done types. I guess if you absolutely have to have an app, this is fine. It charged my RAV4 Prime at 32A (the max it can take) without issue. It took 2.5 hours just like it should. The app can be a bit on the slow side, but that just brings me back to my original opinion that no app is best app for a home charger. We'll see how long it takes my tenants to destroy this, once I install it at the complex instead of at my house.
