I bought this to encourage my daughter to play an instrument. We bought a plastic "Frozen" brand guitar at Dollar General. She likes playing it, but it was a $4.99 plastic toy. I thought this would be a great step up to encourage her to continue playing an instrument. This arrives and it's EXACTLY the same toy. Same plastic with the exact same stamps on the string adjustments. The only difference is the print on the face. The media could not be loaded. The documentation that comes with the instrument is very sparse. If you don't have a music background, you will struggle to tune it and learn to play. First Act should have included chords for a couple of songs. The strings are well out of tune upon opening. We had to Google the proper tuning for each string. From left to right, it is G C E A. You turn on the tuning fob and press the button select Ukulele. You tighten the strings and pluck them until the tuning fob flashes green for that specific note. After a minute of playing, the strings start going out of tune and have to be re-tuned. It's about what you would expect from a budget instrument. The included bag and replacement strings are absolutely essential if you plan on keeping it for more than a few days. ... show more
