I was very skeptical about buying this product as I had already purchased a different brand that did absolutely nothing for me. I inserted the OBD Adapter into the 16-pin port above the brakes and below the steering wheel in my car, and connected it to the paid BimmerLink App via my iOS. As soon as I connected it, a window popped up with all the available options for my car's make and model. Using this, I was able to reset the annoying "engine oil" message that kept failing to reset manually. Although my car had already received an oil change from the mechanic, he nor I could not reset the message. When I contacted BMW, they suggested doing another oil change to reset it, even though it had only been 3,555 miles since the last oil change. This tool is quickly becoming my favorite! ... show more
