  • Great cage, lots of room! Great cage, lots of room!
Style: Rabbit Cage w/ Wood Hutch
This is the ultimate cage for your bun or buns! 10/10 it is not only amazingly spacious, but it also has many features designed for rabbits and their natural tendencies. If you're looking for a hutch for your INDOOR rabbit, this cage might change your mind. It gives my rabbit more space than my mom's rabbit, and her rabbit is in a wood hutch. The wood absorbs all kinds of gross smells so it really doesn't work well for indoor use and it's difficult to clean. This cage has a lift-up front side for ease of cleaning and access to your rabbit. I decided not to put the food shelf in, it proved practically useless because the "stairs" for it were too small for anything bigger than a mouse to climb and I don't think it would've held much weight if my rabbit were to sit on top of it, although I didn't install it or try it out for this use, so I can't say for sure. I love the house attachment for my bun, he often sleeps in there and can get away from comotion when we have company over who are loud. He's very shy and in our entryway/family room, so this is important as rabbits are prey animals and need a shelter to hide when they are scared/anxious. I strongly advise that you check and then double check if you have room for this cage in your home. I measured several times and was still (pleasantly) surprised by how large this cage is. The bigger the better for your rabbit(s), just something to keep in mind. This came on time and was easy to assemble. The directions were very easy to follow and it only took me 20 minutes or so to put together. I've had this cage for a while now and I wouldn't trade it in for any other cage IF YOU PAID ME. Loved it when I first got it and still love it. And so does my bun! ... show more

  • Fantastic Cage for my Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Fantastic Cage for my Netherland Dwarf Rabbit
Style: Rabbit Cage w/ Wood Hutch
I would strongly recommend this cage for a rabbit! I got this cage for my Netherland dwarf rabbit and it's perfect. There is more than enough space for a large litter box, toys, food, and extra space for him to hop around. Honestly, it's so big that it could house at least 2 dwarf rabbits. The bottom is easy to clean and deep enough to stop almost all of the litter/hay my bunny kicks around from getting on the floor. The cage is very sturdy for the price. In particular, the wooden hutch is pretty solid wood. I've been using this cage for 4 months and my rabbit hasn't chewed the wood at all. I would say that assembly is the biggest con of this cage. It took me 2 afternoons to assemble by myself. I would recommend assembling with 2 people and a power drill to screw together the wooden hutch. I did it with a screwdriver, but it was very, very difficult. Also, the grey pieces on the bottom were difficult to assemble together. I ended up using a mallet to push them into place. If I had to disassemble this cage, I wouldn't try to take apart the plastic bottom (too hard to put back together). ... show more

  • Good Cage, but Hard to Assemble (especially alone)
Style: Rabbit Cage w/ Wood Hutch
I got this cage for my little dwarf bunny to hang out in while I'm at work, and it's pretty alright! I like the size and the wooden hutch a lot--there's a good amount of floor space even with a litter box and some toys, and I think the hutch will be comfortable, warm, and secure for the bun. Assembly was HARD, though. There are no words in the instructions, only pictures with arrows and labelled parts. I got a few things backwards the first time building it because I was confused by the pictures, but that might have been a personal problem. Because it's so big, it's kind of hard to coordinate holding the pieces together on your own for assembly, especially for the wooden hutch. I also didn't have a drill for the hutch, but wish I did--my screws aren't in super securely because my partner and I could only screw them in with a screwdriver so far. I'll probably borrow a drill from a friend and fix it another time, but keep that in mind. Overall, it's pretty sturdy and a good size once I figured everything out. It comes with a water bottle, hay feeder, and food dish, though I'll probably be switching the first two things out. They're okay in the interim, though. It's not something I would use for a regular or large sized rabbit or more than one guinea pig. My bun will only be in there for sleep and while I'm at work and free roam throughout the evening and on weekends. I do recommend this cage, but PLEASE have a friend to help you build it and double check your work as you assemble. ... show more

  • Spacious and durable
Style: Rabbit Cage w/ Wood Hutch
I bought this cage 3.5 years ago for my bun who is almost 5 pounds. He loves it and it’s very spacious. I use the dish it comes with for his water instead of the water bottle it came with. The hutch is where his litter box is because he prefers to sleep on his blankets. I tried taking the tray out once, and he got very upset with me because he likes to sit on it. When I first bought the cage I was a little concerned about him sitting on the tray as he got big, but to my surprise it is very durable. I would highly recommend this cage. In my opinion it is very easy to take apart and put back together. I take it apart at least once a week to throughly clean it. ... show more

  • Pros outweigh cons
Style: Rabbit Cage w/ Wood Hutch
Update, aug 3, 2018 Be very careful using this water bottle. I just took our bun out of his cage to play in his playpen. In his pen i have a water dish. He ran roght to it and drank for a whole minute. Thats a long time to drink. I checked the wayer bottle and the ball was stuck. I cant move the ball. That bottle just ended up un our recycling bin. I replaced it with a dish, ots a more natural way for them to drink anyway. A BUNNY WILL QUICKLY DIE WITHOUT WATER. USE A DISH AND BE SAFE. The size is perfect for our Holland lop. The bunny hutch is great, very large and spacious inside. Very nicely made of thick untreated wood. Love the cute cutouts for airflow. The plastic bottom is thick and well made, so are the guards around the cage. Theyre nice and high and keep the bedding inside the cage where it belongs. Unfortunately, there are some problems, there were only 3 clips. The clips we did recieve are sturdy plastic. Thats certainly not enough to keep the cage secure, especially if you have a curious bun. There should have been 8 or 9 clips. The wire cage is not sturdy enough, especially the white side which is the door. The cage would be much better and more secure if the top of the wire cage lifted instead of the side. The very thinly made plastic step for the bunny to climb up to the shelf was broken in the box. I wouldnt have been able to use it any way, too slippery and my 2lb bun is too heavy for it . We took out the shelf with the bowl insert. Without the steps on that side the shelf had no support. I laid it on the cage bottom until I could purchase a crock bowl. Our bun figured out how to pick it up (in its insert) and play " toss the bowl". The shelf just isnt safe enough. It gives our bun more floor space without it. The bottle leaks so we went with a heavy crock bowl. Its more natural for buns to drink that way anyway. The hay rack is that same flimsy plastic as the steps and we replaced that with a wooden hay rack over his litter box. Even with the problems above, and the items I've replaced for more convenience and better quality for our bun, I like this cage. The pros outweigh the cons for us. The price was excellent. Theres no way we could have purchased the same or similar type in a pet store without easily doubling the price. The upgrades we made was nominal. Now im going to try and find out if the company sells extra clips. ... show more

  • It’s perfect! Almost…
Style: Rabbit Cage w/ Wood Hutch
I’m not sure what all the negative reviews are about? This was easy to put together…by myself, and I’m a 42 year old stay at home mom. Granted, I have some skill with power tools and assembly, but it wasn’t hard. Took about an hour…maybe? Our piggies love it. The only cons I would give are design errors: - I’d like to see the wooden hutch have better alignment with the inner divider, there is a slight gap. - There were two bent pieces of plastic inside the hutch area that scream “chew on me”. - The holes to hold the cage divider screws are not lined up properly with that piece. It’s an easy fix with a drill but I haven’t gotten around to it. - lifting the wooden lid causes the bottom of the hutch to lift slightly because of the divider on top of it. I would say just make that piece removable like the door and that would eliminate two of the problems! ... show more

  • Excellent size for rabbit indoors
Style: Rabbit Cage w/ Wood Hutch
It’s such a great size for our rabbit! He has plenty of room to eat, play, and sleep. I can leave him alone in there while I’m at work knowing he has space to roam around. The only negative is that it was really hard to assemble by myself. With another person of course it’s much easier. One of the little clips was broken and the company sent me a replacement in just a few days - super happy! ... show more

  • I really wanted to love this! I really wanted to love this!
Style: Rabbit Cage w/ Wood Hutch
Overall, I am pretty disappointed in the price compared to the product, unfortunately. I did a lot of research and looked at so many different homes for my rabbit, and ended up settling on this really cute pen. Putting the pen together was not too difficult, overall, but you have to have the pieces all facing the correct way and the instructions were not clear in labeling the pieces or the order in which they needed to go (at least I found it easiest to do it almost opposite of what was suggested) With that being said it only took me about an hour to put together by myself. It was frustrating especially since you can place the pieces together even if theyre not correct, but getting them apart was so difficult, and I worried about breaking the plastic...which leads me to my next point, multiple plastic pieces were broken! Thankfully, only a slim part of one of the main pieces was broken so I could still put it together, but the hay holder was completely wrecked and I ended up tossing it. The water bottle was also so cheap and squished and ruined. On top of that, some of the holes were not aligned correctly on the wooden pieces, but that was as simple as making my own. The wiring is very thin and flimsy! And the little door, which i was very excited about, just doesn't fit the cage very well. I have had tons of problems with making sure it fits so it cannot be pushed out by my bunny, and I have had it about 5 days and its already rubbed raw and difficult to close without having to take it off completely. Overall, very disappointed and definitely NOT worth $180 in my opinion ... show more
