This does the job and nothing else. Seems pretty sturdy. You will need different screws if you plan to hang it on a masonry wall. You will also need a long screwdriver or an adaptor for your drill because the screw holes are close to the walls of the plastic plug port.

My car came with a charging cable, but no holster or hook. This keeps the cord off of the ground, but I’m not a fan of the way the handle juts out of the wall. Installation was easy-ish; the 3 screws inside the holster are close to the edge, I used an extension rod on my drill.

I wanted a hanger to get the cord off the ground for my EV charger. This was metal and most affordable on Amazon. I knew that the holder part was plastic, so I knew they can be split apart. Just used a flat head to separate the top pieces (held on by double sided tape). I did not want my cord sticking out far, so I used a scrap piece of wood to angle the holder to the side (shown in picture).
