The design of this Loud Alarm Clock For Heavy Sleepers is quite pleasing. I thought it was going to be cheap looking and "cheesey", but it's not. It's a really nice compact size and the fact that it's USB powered with battery backup is awesome! I love the different colors as a nightlight too!

Review for Modern Curved Cute Digital Alarm Clock, Dimmable Colorful Led Display, Adjustable Volume. I bought this as my first "larger" alarm clock purchase (for a kid with bad eyesight, which makes seeing the clock impossible after waking up or when in the shower) has a very short cord. The clock would be placed where we needed more than 6 foot long cord. Some clocks don't even have a 6 foot cord. So I was very happy when I saw that this alarm clock uses a USB cord to power the alarm clock. I can get longer USB cords and use this alarm clock in places where I can't use my other alarm clocks (as they would need extension cords). What I was looking for: A clock with a large, easy-to-read display. Has a choice of white for the display colors. Adjustable alarm volume. Battery back-up for power outages. Ability to set two alarms (for when someone oversleeps). Long cord. This clock checks off each requirement. And because it uses a USB to power the alarm clock, I can use my 10 foot long USB cords so that I can put this clock on top of a bookshelf or on the other side of the bed (away from an electrical plug). ... show more

The alarm clock itself works quite nicely and adjusting the time and setting the alarms is easy enough. However, the stand does not fit into the alarm clock, either the alarm clock itself or the stand has uncut plastic parts that prevent slotting in. For this reason, I cannot use the stand and therefore cannot use the light feature. Speaking of light, even at the lowest brightness setting, the alarm clock numbers are still very bright in a dark room, this could possibly affect people's sleep. Also, at the loudest alarm setting, the clock produces a shaking sound which sounds like the speakers are being damaged. The clock keeps time well enough though. For the price, perhaps it's worth it, but for me it's not. ... show more
