My outdoor faucet has a pressure valve that sprays you after you turn the water off. I also bought a Y connector for the outdoor faucet. I connected this hose to it to divert the pressure spray off to the side away from me and my patio tables and chairs. It works well.

I have owned a similar stainless steel hose for at least three years and have found it to be strong and durable but lightweight and easy to maneuver. The stainless steel exterior protects the latex and PVC interior hose within from damage. The exterior is nearly indestructible allowing you to drive over, walk over, pull around corners and drag through rough terrain without puncturing or scuffing the hose leading to premature failure. The hose ends have a reinforced protective sheath that helps defeat a common point of failure. The hose is very flexible and doesn't easily tangle and is resistant to corrosion. This should be considered for light to moderate usage as the water flow through this hose will not be on the same level as a heavy duty hose which has an internal diameter of 5/8 inches. This works for general lawn and garden use and is perfect for watering your plants. The hose is relatively easy to store and while is doesn't expand and contract much, its lightweight and tangle free nature makes it easy to handle. These hoses almost certainly cannot be repaired but at this price point I don't believe this aspect should be much of a negative. I am using this shorter length to bridge between soaker hoses in my various raised planting beds. I am burying the hose without fear that foot and wheelbarrow traffic will damage it. The hose comes with additional washers. The hose did not leak when checked and should last for a few years.

I installed this hose to replace the hose that was feeding our hose reel. The female end fit fine, but the male has a hexagonal wide area that just past the threads, and that part prevented me from being able to tighten it to the hose reel without a huge amount of leaking. The solution was to use two rubber washers in that connection instead of just the usual one washer, and it was nice that the hose was shipped with some extra washers. But I'm a bit concerned about how that doubled up stack of washers will hold up long-term. The hose itself seems like it will work very nicely. It's easy to handle and surprisingly flexible with the metal outer jacket. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's working right now. Just hoping that the doubled washers will hold up.

The southern CA sun can be brutal on hoses - especially those shorter lengths I use to extend out from the hose bibb to make attaching a longer hose or hose reel that much easier. While commercial grade hoses hold up better, all the hoses eventually wear out from UV degradation. We got this extension to help alleviate (or at least minimize) that problem by getting a hose wrapped in stainless steel. In addition to offering UV/sun protection, this hose is VERY flexible and doesn't kink, which makes it a pleasure to use. My pet peeve with ALL rubber hoses is fighting with their natural tendency to want to be rolled in a very specific way. This hose is only 6' long, so any such tendency would be minimal, but there is absolutely NO issue with this hose kinking or tangling. Plus it has reinforced latex/PVC protection on each end to minimize wear and tear and keep the connections from cracking after extended use. In addition, while it costs more than the crummy 6' plastic hoses you can buy at a big box retailer or hardware store, I think the price difference is well worth it for the higher quality stainless steel and superior ease of use. It also comes with two additional spare washers. In summary, this "leader" hose fits our needs perfectly, is competitively priced, appears very durable and works well. We highly recommend it.

I just recently finished installing a small mini-pond in my small greenhouse and needed a rugged and good looking 8 ft hose to attach to my water pump to create a waterfall effect. Just to get up and running and to try out the water pump, I cut a 10 ft piece of an old green garden hose to use the water pump. The old green hose looked cheap, awful, and was all bent to hell from age. This new Trangrace Garden Hose 8 ft, Stainless Steel Hose is BEAUTIFUL, as garden hoses go. Not only is it beautiful, but the way the stainless hose is made makes it flexible and stay put into place where you place it. No more fighting hoses that have a pre-curved mind of their own. It's hard to get excited over garden hoses, but this is THE BEST hose I've ever bought. Now I'm in the market for several 50 ft versions of this hose as it seriously does not tangle. Can you imagine that?!

Ordered to use as an extension for my front yard hose bibb. Prior to install this 6' hose I had to step over a short retaining wall, get down on my knees to avoid some azalea bushes and then stretch and struggle to connect a hose and then turn on the hose bibb in my front yard garden area. With the addition of a shutoff valve I can now just leave the bibb in the on position and control the water flow by adjusting the shutoff valve. Makes connecting an additional hose tons easier. Saves me a lot of hassle and back ache. Extra washer included. Appear to be quality construction. Recommended for myriad uses.

I purchased this 8’ hose from Trangrace as an output hose for a small utility pump I have. I am amazed at the flexibility of this hose even when it’s cold out. It dies not kink like your typical rubber garden hose. The exterior stainless steel construction protects the interior hose from punctures. The hose comes with 1 washer pre-installed and their documentation says they provide an additional 2 washers but mine actually came with 3 additional washers in a small ziplock bag. Keep in mind that although this hose has standard 3/4” metal threaded male and female connectors, the hose itself is smaller in diameter than your typical outdoor hose. Wish they would design one with a standard hose diameter, but this one will do for my utility pump purpose.

Happy I was wrong. This worked out great. When we re-did our laundry room last fall, we removed the utility sink. It sat outside all winter and finally got it hooked up near the pool house. Just a small converter piece to make the faucet work with a hose. As you can see in the picture we had just tried using an old hose but it was so kinked that water didn't flow very well. This stainless steel (if longer) will not kink. I'm so happy to have running water to wash off paint brushes, wash hands after planting all without having to come inside.
