This charger is great. I have now had it for about 5 months. It was very easy to install as it came with the cable and conduit already attached. I really like that it has an app that I can easily adjust the output current from my smart phone. I usually set it about 18 amps and I charge overnight as the power company here has a reduced rate program from 9 PM to 6 AM. Also, the power company here will reimburse you 500 dollars for an EV charger so I really got it for free. Can't beat that. So check with your local power company to see if they have similar plans. The charger has worked perfectly and I highly recommend this one. It can charge up to 48 amps if you need a faster charge.

Installation was easy, though I didn't have any available space left in my electric panel, so I had my electrician add a sub-panel and then we wired in the EVIQO NACS Charger to that. I set the max amperage to 40 A because my home only has 100 A service, so limiting the circuit to a 50 A breaker (required for 40 A power draw) seemed prudent. It is nice that you can set a hard limit for the EVIQO NACS Charger if you wish to do so. This is very helpful in cases when drawing the full 48 A might put too much stress on a home's electrical system. I have used the EVIQO app to further customize the amperage available for charging based on the time of day. I plan to switch to time based electric billing in the near future, so I have limited the charging to 10 A during times of the day when electricity is expensive and allowed 40 A when it is (or rather, will be) cheaper. Doing this now should make the billing change cheaper as the electric company calculates part of the switching fee based on your historical electricity usage. The overall build quality is good. This includes the main unit, the power cable, and the NACS connector. After several drops on the garage floor the NACS connector still shows no sign of wear. My only annoyance is that EVIQO called me several times asking me to post a review. Ok, here's my review. You can stop calling me now, alright? Thanks

It was a very easy installation. We did it ourselves. It works really well with our 2026 Kia EV9. The app lets you know when charging is complete. You can also schedule when you want to charge your car. I recommend the hardwire if you want the most Amps available for your vehicle.

⚠️Requires professional installation!⚠️ I purchased the EVIQO NACS charger for my new EV, and the unit itself is top-tier. The build quality is excellent, the cable is heavy-duty, and it looks great on the wall. However, if you are buying this to get the full 48-amp charging speed, hire a licensed electrician. I initially thought about having a neighbor help install it, but I quickly learned that a hardwired 48-amp unit requires a specific 60-amp breaker, heavy-gauge wire, and a proper permit to be safe and code-compliant. This isn't a simple 'handyman' job or a plug-in appliance—it’s major electrical work. Spending the extra money for a pro to install this unit gave me total peace of mind that my house (and new car) are safe. The charger works flawlessly, but do yourself a favor and get it installed right the first time!

I 3D printed a pass-through port for my garage wall so I could keep the unit inside, and paired with the included wall mount and cord hanger, it makes for a really clean setup. Simple, functional, and does exactly what you want it to do.

Reliable and data-rich. The EVIQO app provides a superior level of cost transparency compared to the standard Tesla interface. Though the triple-button sequence to enable Tesla’s internal scheduling is a hidden nuance, it unlocks the essential luxury of preconditioning. The hardware is faultless; a more proactive software guide for this specific setup would elevate the experience from great to definitive.

I purchased the 48. I am an electrician and self installed the device. It works great and charges quickly for a household charger. My only complaint is that the whip for hard connection does not have a connector for the line side. Only the side that goes into the charger has a connector. I had to take the power box apart, determ the cables and install 1” Carlon Flex. If ENVIQO was going to put a raceway over the cables then they should have sent a connector. The material isn’t made of anything that you can just get a connector for over the counter in the US anyway! I would still purchase regardless. The #6 wire at 3’ and pre terminated is with the extra money.
