This charger is great. I have now had it for about 5 months. It was very easy to install as it came with the cable and conduit already attached. I really like that it has an app that I can easily adjust the output current from my smart phone. I usually set it about 18 amps and I charge overnight as the power company here has a reduced rate program from 9 PM to 6 AM. Also, the power company here will reimburse you 500 dollars for an EV charger so I really got it for free. Can't beat that. So check with your local power company to see if they have similar plans. The charger has worked perfectly and I highly recommend this one. It can charge up to 48 amps if you need a faster charge.

It was a very easy installation. We did it ourselves. It works really well with our 2026 Kia EV9. The app lets you know when charging is complete. You can also schedule when you want to charge your car. I recommend the hardwire if you want the most Amps available for your vehicle.

This charger was incredibly easy to set up with the phone app. I like the compact and minimalist design as well as the ease of use. By default, you just plug in to charge but it does allow for scheduling and has other settings you can adjust. The default amperage is 48 amps which you can manually lower during installation with the dip switch but you can also easily adjust the amps using a slider on the Home Screen of the app. The only thing I can think of that could be an issue for some is that the status lights on the charger are pretty bright and cannot be dimmed. That's not a problem for me but it might be for some. The ability to dim the status lights would be nice. Overall, it seems well constructed, the holster works well and the 25 foot cable is really useful.

I wired directly into the junction box instead of buying an expensive outlet. No worries about failure and possible outlet fire. Higher charging current is a plus. I am very happy with the result. Our Ioniq 5 charges faster.

Looks nice, decent cord flexibility, does its job. I've realized that in contrast with another popular brand, EVIQO provides a pretty good value in the construction: 1. Includes the hardwiring whip, conduit and conduit connectors so it might be cheaper to install than another brand that requires additional materials. 2. The unit casing is pretty solid and feels like it should hold up for years exposed to the elements. It also looks elegant. 3. Discourages theft by using tamper-resistant screws to hold it to the mount. 4. The charging cord is among the longer ones provided for chargers and it's nicely flexible. Software is how chargers really provide value beyond being an electrical relay and a cable, and the app could use some work. If you need a schedule that spans midnight you have to create two schedules that don't overlap, such as one schedule 21:00 to 00:00 and another 00:01 to 16:00. So charging will halt and restart for a minute resulting in notifications from the car. If you mistakenly try to create a schedule that spans midnight or overlaps with another, it fails to save and clears the form.

⚠️Requires professional installation!⚠️ I purchased the EVIQO NACS charger for my new EV, and the unit itself is top-tier. The build quality is excellent, the cable is heavy-duty, and it looks great on the wall. However, if you are buying this to get the full 48-amp charging speed, hire a licensed electrician. I initially thought about having a neighbor help install it, but I quickly learned that a hardwired 48-amp unit requires a specific 60-amp breaker, heavy-gauge wire, and a proper permit to be safe and code-compliant. This isn't a simple 'handyman' job or a plug-in appliance—it’s major electrical work. Spending the extra money for a pro to install this unit gave me total peace of mind that my house (and new car) are safe. The charger works flawlessly, but do yourself a favor and get it installed right the first time!

I had this professionally installed about 4 months ago. The electrician encountered one problem that was quickly resolved after a call to EVIQO help line. In December we had roof panels and 2 power walls installed, and the charger continues to work flawlessly. Our EV now runs on sunshine; gotta love it, no? The hefty 25’ cable is easy to manage and we treat it with care anyway. I have another brand plug-in charger at a separate location with a 20’ cable that requires some innovative parking - makes me glad I chose this model with the extra 5’. The EVIQO phone app works fine, but I do wish it would show me the remaining percentage needed to top-off the battery. If I really need to know that amount, I have to walk out to the garage, open the front car door, and the car dash lights up with the amount remaining. And I thought that’s why God made apps: so we could be lazy and just look at our phone.
