I don’t know if it’s because the panels where the ports are aren’t entirely made of metal or this magnetic connection just isn’t that strong but it doesn’t hold. I mainly use it to cover the actual connector when I think it’s going to rain as I don’t have a garage. Fits perfectly over my Volt's charging port & door when plugged in. You have to adjust it a little to make sure there aren't any gaps where it comes into contact with the car, but it's super easy and quick to do it.
