Had electrician install outlet on my house next to my driveway. I ended up buying a vinyl mounting block to give it a better look when installed. Using it to charge my 2024 ioniq 5. It can fully charge my battery overnight. App connected and found charger with no issues. So far I have had it for 3 months and had no issues. You can monitor charging with your phone. I have it currently set to use the included card to start the charge but most of the time I just turn it on in the app. Charging unit feels solid but the plug holder feels very light weight. If anything breaks it will probably be the plug holder. The one thing I don't like is the bright blue light that stays on all the time. At night it's the first thing I see when I'm coming home and see my house. I wish there was a way to disable the light. Update 3/22/26, almost 1 year since install Charger still works great. Enjoying my EV. Probably charge 2 sometimes 3 times a week. Just FYI as some people don't had some issues. The 50 amp speed is only available if charger is hardwired. Once that is done there is a setting in the app that needs to be turned on. Also the use of the access card is optional. It is on by default but just set it to plug and play. That's the way I use mine. The app also shows kwh used. It will break it down by day, month, and year. Good info to keep up with how much you are spending. According to my kwh and usage I only spent $388 dollars in charging last year.

Some thing to know off the bat: 1) very well built. 2) comes with plug installed for a 14-50 socket. This will get you 40A charging from a 50A circuit. This is normal for all 14-50 plugs. You will only get 48 amps when hard wiring the device. Have an electrician do this if you want the faster charge but most people will never need 48A 3) I do not know why people say the app is clunky. I had zero issue installing it, connecting to WIFI and controlling the charger through my phone. Inset it up to do charging between 1am and 6am. The setup does not require the RFID card. You can also set up three other charging modes. And a mode where you just plug and charge without the card if your charger resides in a secure location. 4) if you can operate an electric drill you can install this if you are going with the plug. I had it installed in 5 minutes and set up with the app and wife in an additional 5 minutes. Other thoughts. The app does have a records section for you to see how much kW hrs you pulled so you can understand exactly how much you are paying for electricity. The device looks clean and modern. There is plenty of length on the charging cable. In bought this with an Amazon coupon when it was on sale and got it for under 300.00. For that price and the features you get, it was a steal.

UPDATE - I used the "contact us" link on their webpage - and I got a response. NOTE! Your WiFI must be 2.4 ghz or it will not bind. Luckily we had two connections at the house and I was able to switch my phone to the 2.4 and it connected. I just got a 2024 Chevy Blazer EV. I bought this based on the seemingly good reviews (and no note saying frequently returned) - it uses the large dryer like outlet which I had installed near my breaker box. It charged the battery from 50ish% to 80 in about 45 mins first use. It comes with RFID cards so if you mount it outside you won’t get unauthorized use. The heavy duty cord that goes to the car is very long so easy to place anywhere. I am giving 4 stars because there is absolutely no customer service. Phone gets busy signal and email gets bounced back. The app won’t “bind” to the unit. The app picks up the unit right away but won’t connect. Luckily I can set schedules and charge percent on my car.

Won't Charge Past 40A. Electrician installed and left. Worked fine, EXCEPT after he left I learned that using a plug limits output to my car. If and when he's back in the area, he'll come back and cut off the plug and see it I get a full 48A that I expected. In the meantime, it's running 20% slow apparently for that reason. Unfortunately, the electrician lives 300 miles away, and a relative, so it may be a long time before I get full power.

I am very pleased with this purchase I charge my Mazda CX 90 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle with it daily. It’s been flawless. It’s been installed for approximately 45 days. It replaced a Tesla charger, which was nearly doubled the price and half the features Installation. Absolute piece of cake took only about 15 or 20 minutes to install Start up and commissioning. Again, very intuitive piece of cake We definitely recommend would definitely buy again. Compared to the Tesla charger I had it works easily as well if not better and was about half the price. I did purchase the 48 amp unit

I’m using this charger with my Tesla Model S (with the J1772 adapter), and so far it’s performing exactly as expected. Solid build, reliable charging, and the features seem to work well. When I first ordered it, Amazon mistakenly sent me the wrong version — one without the RFID or smart connectivity features. After spending some time trying to set it up, I reached out to the company directly. They responded quickly, confirmed the issue, and immediately sent me the correct unit without any hassle — they didn’t even require the incorrect one back. It wasn’t their mistake, but they still took full responsibility and made it right. That kind of customer service is rare and absolutely worth a 5-star rating. Great product, great people behind it.

This is a great product with lots of flexibility as far as your electrical infrastructure in your home. It can be plugged in or hardwired, with hardwired being the optimal install configuration. I did have an issue with app not recognizing the charging unit to be able to add it the app, but after a quick email to the manufacturer, the issue was easily solved. Their customer service is very responsive and helpful. I did quite a bit of research before I chose this charger and I am very happy that I chose this one. Very easy to install and setup, provided you have the proper outlet/wire/breaker installed. I recommend setting up for 50 amp charging even if you decide to charge at a lower rate, it will give you flexibility and the ability to use the charger to its full potential.
