Very happy with this order. I had been looking at water coolers, but most of them cost a lot or are too bulky to for the space I have available. This was a great alternative and it makes filling up my water bottles so easy.

Ok. There's really not a whole lot going on here. I will tell you straight up, this item works great. It's simple. Effective. A great option for avoiding the whole "dispensing station" and all of its associated costs. Rather, with this little investment, you have a fairly accessible and effective solution. For me, I have well water that doesn't react to certain mixes, like iced tea, though it is rather fine for coffee... go figure. Therefore, I don't have a requirement for vast quantities of spring water, but enough so I don't want to continue to purchase little bottles repeatedly. Having done some research, and having used a water dispenser system in the past, before I went that route, I wanted to test an alternative, and I am glad I did. The item works great. That it is rechargeable is wonderful. No plugs, and the charge should last quite a while with as little as I use it. On the buttons, the directions are not clean, but while you do have the portion button preconfigured, teh "power" button is also the simple "start-stop" button. In other words, this baby is already on, and if you hit that button once (as I did), and are unprepared, you will have a nice puddle of water on the floor (as I did), quite quickly. :) So, the pump works great. Super simple. If I had one desire, it would be that the base or neck would make a bit of a seal with the 5gl container. As it stands, it simply rests atop it. Thus, for longer term use, it will not keep the water within sealed against flies, etc... Thus, I remove it and replace the stopper until I am ready for next use. That's a downside, and one going forward I would recommend they upgrade.

I have a couple of giant water bottles and no water cooler to set them on top of, so I got this dispenser instead to try. After giving it a full charge, I hooked the silicone hose (plenty long to reach the bottom) to the motor/dispenser head and gave it a whirl. The first thing you should know about this gadget is that it sits freely on top of the water bottle and does not twist on in any way. It just floats free on top of the bottle. So if the bottle should fall or tip over, the top is not sealed and will spill for sure. However, the dispenser head seats itself about 2.5 inches over the top of the bottle opening, so you'd really have to try to knock it off. It worked perfectly, and dispensed water with the touch of the power button, and then same button again to stop the flow of water. It makes a fairly loud grinding noise, so you're not going to want to use this while everyone's sleeping. A plus though, is that the dispenser nozzle/end did not drip after water stopped coming out of it. So I didn't have to worry about water spots on my table. I could see this as an easy thing to do at a picnic, or sports game where lots of people need water. Or even for an elderly person who cannot lift a giant 5 gallon water drum upside down on to a cooler. Or at a construction site. I wouldn't put any other liquid in it besides water though, as there's no way to clean up inside the head where the motor is. *UPDATE* 7 months later and this thing is STILL running off of its very first charge! Amazing!
