I only bought this because it has an ice function. The water tasted fine as usual, until I turned on the ice functionality. The water tastes vile when the ice is running. I even turned the ice function off for a few days to see if anything would change, but nothing changed. Just adds a really micro plasticy flavor to the water which is really off putting during and after. My TDS meter showed nothing was wrong, but trust me when I say it tasted awful. For a $1000, I don't think I really have to explain why I wouldn't keep it if it couldn't do water part well. I have other minor grievances like the touch capacitive buttons instead of actual physical buttons. In the end, I returned it, bought a cheap Avalon, used ice trays, and called it a day.

It's great at cold and hot water. Ice is consistent. The machine cycles the water internally to keep itself clean - which is great - but the noise is noticeable in a quiet house.

The media could not be loaded. Honestly this Brio water dispenser has been such a game changer for our family. It looks sleek and modern ✨I love that it’s bottom loading so I’m not lifting heavy bottles! The dispenser is super quiet, and the ice maker is quiet when comparing to the small ice makers. The machine is gorgeous! I’m super happy with the purchase. Note: when purchasing a 5 gallon container, just make sure the head part is not to bulky has the piece connected to the water dispenser demands a smaller 5 gallon head. It’s the piece that covers the 5 gallon container.

Don’t not buy this item. I have put 60 gallons of water thru this machine and still can’t get the bad taste ( oil taste ) out of it. Not worth the money you are better off not owning it. Rent one with water delivery service. This is the better way. Hope this review helps someone. Wished I would have read more before I bought. I am too late to return it so, I will mark this up as a loss and set this on the curb for the garbage pick up.

No room temperature water, it's either very hot, very cold or ice. No idea why Brio would release a dispenser without the ability to provide room temperature water. Would have given this a 5-star since the other temps and ice creation are very good. -3 stars for not having normal room temp water.
