It works good. Tastes good. Make sure to put the blue insert in correctly. I couldn't get the cover to sit on right. I was ready to toss it. I took it back apart, and when I put it back together again the cover fit perfectly. I didn't realize there was a difference in the front and back top of the blue insert. Lesson learned. This fits perfectly in the door pocket of my RV, which is what I bought it for. You never know what's in the water at campgrounds, so this way I don't have to carry clean water, just a clean pitcher with a filter! ... show more

I love the look/design of this pitcher! I got the white one - it's blue inside - very good looking and elegant. It was to replace an older, bigger one that had gotten hard for dad to handle due to size and weight. It was also not as ergonomic - leaving a layer of water unfiltered above the filter. This newer design is super ergonomic - filters 100% of the water that goes in. And I love the fast filtering with the newer, shorter filters - get those. This one comes with one, so I'd get a set of 3-4 that pops up on the page as an add-on. Will be ordering those new filters. ... show more

Does the job and it is affordable. No complaints. Other filters work with it, you don't have to buy PUR filters. I tested Aqua filters. It does not have the light that tells you when you need to change the filter but you can set it on your calendar.

I chose this Pur water filtering pitcher over a Brita filter due to the fact that it claims to filter better than the Brita brand. The in-door water dispenser on my refrigerator is broken and this is a much cheaper solution than a new fridge. When the pitcher arrived I was actually surprised at how small the pitcher is as compared to other water filter pitchers I’ve used. Don’t get me wrong, it does the trick and the smaller size does allow for more room in the fridge, but also means that you absolutely have to refill the top portion upon every use. My big complaint is the tiny flap at the tip of the pour spout. It appears to be a cheap plastic flap that is held to the lid with a VERY cheap pair of plastic receiving clasps. The lid flap will fall off at any moment without any effort. It’s fallen off in my glass, it’s fallen off in my sink when refilling the pitcher and fell into my drain, it’s just terrible! This flap is truly the reason for a lower three-star rating. If it weren’t for the cheap flap I’d easily give this a four-star rating, five if the pitcher was a bit larger. Other than my complaint about the flap, the pitcher works great. The Pur filter does an excellent job of producing flavorless water to drink, filtering out all the nasty from my tap. I do recommend this water filter pitcher to you, just hope that you get a better lid than I did. I hope this review was helpful to you in some way. Cheers! ... show more
