I realize there are like a "million" reviews for this, but I had to let everyone know I have had this since AVALON Bottom loading Water Cooler since 2020!!!! It is STILL functioning perfectly well! I do not leave the water col not water hot witches in the rear of the unit on , I only turn them on when I need to. This has helped my unit last this long. It cools down water within 5 -10 minutes to very, very cold, and heats up in about the same time frame. This is a huge space saver because I don't have to have my kettle out on the counter anymore for quick hot water. noor do I want to use my microwave oven for heating water--or or that matter, anything. Not a fan of microwaves that suck nutrients out of water and food . I have had ZERO leakgae, zero issues with my unit. I love this thing so much, i got the black one. donot place or store heavy items on top of it either. (Like cookbooks, etc) This would be a handy item in a home workshed or garage too for when the kkids are thrsty from playing outdoors (or do munchkins even play outside anymore in 20205 with IG and TT LOL?) ! Super easy to clean, I am so happy i found this in 2020. I live in CA and barely can survive here (COL) so I don't have a fancy rich people stainless steel refrigerator LOL with a water spigot. My back doesn't ache from doing it the Year 2000 way either where I would have to lift a 5 gallon jug up high to then pour my waer into the ceramic jug. Those days are gone, thanks to AVALON yay! ONE HUNDRED PERCENT HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My family and I absolutely love this water cooler. I did an Amazon subscription for three jugs of water once a month for a family of five and it works just right for us. My husband enjoys having hot tea instantly and not having to wait on the kettle to boil. During the summer the cold water was great for ice tea and such. We now pay half the cost of what our local water company charges annually for water.. It’s a big savings for us. It’s very easy to install another jug. I make sure it has a handle on the jug. Easy to clean.

This was a very disappointing experience, considering how well the actual functions worked (hot water, cold and cool water) and the ease of bottom loading. The water had a distinct chemical (toluen/benzene solvent like) aftertaste from DAY 1- no amount of soap /water, vinegar:water, citrate cleaning packet, or charcoal packets in the reservoir could remove it. I kept using it awhile thinking "eventually the chemicals will flush out." -Nope! We use Poland Spring water primarily (until Primo destroyed that delivery service in MA), and now Monadnock, and both waters taste fine using a simple gravity dispenser. Put the same water through our unit - and awful taste. Contacted support: they need model number, date of purchase, another ID number and a hoste of questions - which they wanted ALL OVER again in their reply to my ticket. What's the point of typing in all these details with my initial complaint? I don't keep a centralized file of all my home appliances or have the time to repeat things as an overtasked neuroradiologist in a busy vacation seacoast area. here is their partial reply "To fully understand the issue with your cooler and what may be causing it, I just have a few questions about the cooler. This information will not only help me determine the cause of the issue but also how to correct it as quickly and as easily as possible. - How long have you had the water cooler? When did this issue begin? - How often do you clean the cooler internally? " Here is my 2nd response (of 3 total), reiterating the 1st email: "The cooler was bought new from Amazon April 2025 I cleaned it initially with soap and water It has had the odd taste since we bought it - it was very mild at first, so i gave it time. Now it is very bad. If you read my initial e-mail, I mentioned I spent 2 days in a row this August cleaning it with vinegar, then citrate solutions." At that point I realized that this particular Chinese company likely wanted to avoid replacing the unit by blaming me for the taste, instead of giving good customer service. Prove me wrong Avalon! I welcome good support.

Absolutely wonderful, came in without a blemish. Quite and saves me time no more waiting for the water pot to boil and having to refill it. My only wish is that the filters where more like Zero Water (Culligan) and eliminate TDS.

The water cooler itself is really amazing. The water tastes great and it's nice and cold. The room temperature button doesn't work which is a little annoying because I bought it for the room temperature water for my dog, but other than that it's working great. It was a fiasco actually getting the cooler. The first time the order never arrived, they then told me it was lost in transit and ordered me another one of which they assured me it would be there in 48 hours. 48 hours came and went and still no water cooler but after chatting, yet again, it showed up. Then I kept getting emails saying if I didn't return the other cooler (that clearly never arrived) that they would charge my card. I had to go to the chat box once again. They resolved it at that point. 4 stars because I like the water cooler I have (except the room temperature button is broken), but the amount of time I had to spend just to get this cooler was very frustrating.

Been using this for well over a year now and no complaints. It tells you when it’s low. Only using it for a household of two the water lasts about a week and being able to have hot water instantly for tea and hot chocolate is great. We also keep a countertop ice machine on top and it works really well in the corner.
