So far, so good. This is a decent water cooler/ice maker that's unique in that it's a closed-system and works using five-gallon water jugs. Ideal for my apartment, where I don't have a water connection to the ice maker in my fridge. It's a bit of an energy vampire, especially if you keep the hot water switch on. Having ice as needed is nice, however, I must say. For the first 24 hours, the machine was noisy and gurgling - so much so, I spent about an hour with gpt wondering if something was wrong. After a few loads of ice were made, however, it was fine. A good machine! No leakage here or strange taste. A bit pricey.

This is an awesome dispenser for 5 gallon water jugs. This unit is made to hold the bottle underneath, so it is easy to load, takes up less room, and you don't have a giant water bottle on display. This not only dispenses water straight from the bottle, it also offers cold water, hot water, and best of all, ice! This is a well designed and well made unit that really works great. The controls are right in front, easy to understand, and easy to use. The cold water gets refrigerator temp type chilled, and the hot water is hot enough for a cup of instant coffee or tea. This dispenses the softer bullet shaped ice, which is great for chilling drinks down quickly, and is fun to crunch too. The bottom door opens easily, and you slide the bottle in by just tilting it a little and rolling one side up into it, then tipping it back upright and finish sliding it in, easy to load, and the top just plugs into the bottle, no mess, no leaks. This is a top name product, and the materials and craftsmanship show it, it looks great, and should last a long time. The UV light filter keeps the water in the lines and machine safe. There are cheaper units out there, but with these features and this quality you can not go wrong with one of these units. 5 Stars!

Overwhelming plastic taste after first use. Followed all of the instructions and let the unit sit upright for over two days before plugging in. Water was fine initially but overnight an immense plastic flavor and aroma was present. Bled over a gallon of water flushing to see if that was the issue. Next day same problem. Followed the manual and cleaned the water tanks accordingly to instructions despite it not being mentioned in initial setup. Now the plastic flavor is less yet still quite present. If this is a “breaking in” issue, the manufacturer needs to let us know. As of now we dont know whether or not our unit is dysfunctional or if the water is honestly even safe to drink.

IT MAKES ICE! IT'S THE BEST! It has a beautiful, elegant, and modern design: black and stainless steel, with a super modern touch panel. The control panel is intuitive and very clear, with labeled touch buttons and indicator lights for ice, warning, and safe for hot water, and normal for cold water. There's no danger for children with the hot water. As I said at the beginning, it makes ice! It's the best. Here at my house, we have well water, and we don't like its taste or smell, even though it goes through the refrigerator filter, but with this dispenser, it's different. I don't know if it's the type of filter or how modern the machine is. It works perfectly and is a good size; its colors match my kitchen. It's really worth the purchase! It's a combination of features in a very nice and elegant machine. You won't have a single drop of water leaking outside when you connect the water bottle. It's very effective, does what it promises, and is highly durable. We've been using it for months, even with well water, and it hasn't created any limescale. It's very good quality, a bit pricey, but truly worth every penny. Excellent quality and an elegant design. ease to clean, a little noise but good. excellent quality

“Cool” product however it makes all your water taste plastic and chemically. I’ve tried to clean it multiple times. Now I will try to return it. There is no point in buying safe drinking water and then turning it into a chemical stew by your Brio.
