I love having ice cold, room temperature or hot water for tea on tap. Since purchasing this water cooler, I have cut my soft drink consumption to nearly zero and replaced my drinking habits with only water or tea. I needed to clean it after the 2 month mark because it started tasting like mildew, but that's expected of any cooler. Researched all of these water dispensers on the market as I'm tired of paying a monthly rental fee to the water company. It's not perfect, but I did find this one to be one of the best stainless steel dispensers out there. As others have mentioned, it is a little noisy, but nothing major. The important thing is that it keeps the flavor of the water as it should be and it tastes great. I mean GREAT and I am over the top particular about this topic. I also love that it gives you a room temperature, hot, and cold option. My only complaint is that the space between the drip catch tray and the various dispensers is snug and that the dispensers (pushing out the various temperatures of water) are inside of a header on the unit and you have to bend over to look and make sure your bottle or whatever you are filling is right under the dispenser so that water doesn't leak on the floor. I knocked off a star because this is a design flaw in my mind as those dispensers should be higher and more visible so users don't have to bend over each time. Also, if you want to insert a coffee pot with an attached lid or a large gallon pitcher under one of the dispensers, you have to pull the drip catch tray out or hold the coffee pot at an angle. Not a huge deal, but again, something that I would have thought through when designing. Overall, I highly recommend this dispenser and would purchase again as it's solid quality, and promotes all of us drinking more water. ... show more

    • Hot water dispenser button gets stuck in the open position!

Liked this unit initially, but unfortunately after the 30 day warranty and 90 day customer support period expired, the hot water button started to get stuck in the open position! Has anyone else had this happen and know how to fix it? Please advise!

Works great. Room temperature option is still colder than should be. When it turns on for cooling the water, it is way louder than stated. I understand they make noise, but this is noisier than any other one I've had.

I unfortunately don't believe i purchased a warranty for this product- and it is not working anymore so after a year to keep water boiling hot. IT was a good product- until it stopped working. If you purchase it pay the warranty-- ONLY reason i bought my own was the water company fixed theirs multiple times-- so I thought I"ll get my own- but these machines just really don't hold up i guess. I think this is a great investment, especially if you and your family want to drink more water but don’t want to spend the money buying filtration systems or water bottles. The water dispenser works excellently. The cold water is cold and the hot water is always hot, which is great. No need to put the kettle on for tea. This is a one stop shop for clean water. The dispenser is relatively quiet. When it is cooling water, it just turn on and make some noise but that is expecting since it is working. It is equivalent to the sound of the fridge kicking on to create ice cubes or cool down the inside after the door has been open for a while. It is just a quiet hum.
