Tried these filters in my large brita pitcher, and it works well overall. Taste is good, no real hint of chlorine taste, have a good useful life (about a month), but only concern is that they appear to shed a little bit of material into the water before they expire. I live in a city with very hard water and even after a softener system, filtration is a must, I have used Zero Water but that is way to expensive and the filters do not last long. Brita works but is cost prohibitive with the filters to a point. These are a great alternative, they fit well in the pitchers, have the same weight as a Brita filter so I assume that means the same amount of material inside, do not need presoaking, and the water noticeably tasted cleaner than a new Brita filter. Time will tell how long they last but so far I am impressed, and the price is great. ... show more

The price was lowest I could find for a pack of 3, the fit quality and filtration are great. Though I have no idea how long each filter will last, they do work great at removing the unpleasant chemical taste of my local tap water supplier. What a difference it makes to process the water for my morning coffee through this filtration method! I am pleased and will continue ordering these at periodic intervals, as needed. ... show more
