This robot vacuum is GREAT! We had the Roomba manufactured by iRobot. Don’t waste your money on Roomba. This works way better. The phone app is also way better and more user friendly. The Roomba uses magnetic strips to identify exclusion zones. Ugly and they don’t work well. This has exclusion zones on the phone app. More user friendly and nothing to trip on.

Have had only 2 days so will have to see about longevity but for now 5 stars. Arrived in good shape, setup easy, learning to program went well for me not being very techy. I've had it clean my whole house (5 rooms) and it does a great job.

I've never used a robot vacuum for myself, although my daughter and son-in-law have had several and have liked them. So I was excited to try the eufy C10 Robot Vacuum. Physically setting it up was very easy. The setup brochure was clear. The app set up was about annoying as any other app set up, had to create an account etc. I had a little trouble figuring out how to start the mapping process, and once it started mapping, I realized I should have cleared the table chairs, it ended up taking longer than it should have because of the extra obstacles. It made a strangely accurate map—even though I had the staircase blocked off, it was still shown on the map. I think it did a pretty decent job. It takes a long time, going over an area more than once. I think it took about 45 minutes and used about 30% of the battery. I think it would be very useful to start it while you're out, like at work or something. After a few times, I'm going to compare the vacuum's performance with my own, using a regular vacuum so I can get a good picture of the vacuum's thoroughness and suction power.

I must have a defective one. It leaves the base every two minutes until the battery is completely drained. I’ve reset, cycled power, let it sit powered off, and even charged it standing up so it couldn’t leave the base, and it did the same two minute departure thing after charging completely. It did map and vacuum well when I first set it up though. Edit: the replacement vacuum works fine. It was the base from the first machine I got that was malfunctioning. The first vacuum worked with the base from the replacement, and the replacement vacuum wouldn’t stay in the first dock just like the first vacuum would not.

Living in a small apartment in Minnesota means I spend 6 months of the year tracking in salt and road grit. I recently picked up this eufy C10 for a home improvement project I was doing right before the snow hit. Idk why I waited so long to get this. The unit was a little bit smaller than I expected based on the photos but it actually fits under my low profile dresser perfectly. The 1st unit I received had a small defect with the power button but the replacement was perfect. I am really impressed with the 4000 Pa suction power and it handles the dirt from the sidewalk better than any generic vacuum I have used. I saw some talk online about how quiet this model is and I can confirm it does not disturb me at all. The corner rover arm is the main reason I bought it and it actually gets into the tight spots around my kitchen cabinets. Having the self empty station means I only have to deal with the dust bag every 60 days or so. It solved a problem I did not even realize I had with pet hair building up under my radiator. This feels like a solid piece of tech that will last for years. I got this right before winter started and it has been great for keeping the floors clean. The build quality is way better than the store brand models I looked at previously. For the price the value is high and I am curious to try other products from this brand now.

I’ve owned quite a few products from Eufy and their parent brand over the years, and they’ve always been reliable for me. Because of that, I tend to trust them more than most when it comes to smart home devices. The Eufy C10 robot vacuum has been another great addition. One of the best features is the self-emptying dock. Instead of me having to empty the dust bin after every cleaning, the vacuum empties itself into the base. The dust bag holds a lot, so it can run for quite a while before you have to think about it. That makes it much more convenient for everyday use. The suction power is strong, and it does a great job picking up dust, crumbs, and pet hair. I also like the side brush, which helps pull debris out of corners and along the edges of rooms. Another nice touch is the low profile design, which lets it fit under couches and furniture where regular vacuums usually can’t reach. We have two long-haired German Shepherds and a long-haired cat. We run the robot vacuum twice a day to keep up with pet hair. Even with all the hair that ends up on the floor, the dust bags last me at least two months before needing to be changed, and I've actually never even filled one to 100% capacity in that amount of time. The app is simple to use for scheduling cleanings and controlling the vacuum, and overall it’s been very dependable. Don't be alarmed if it occasionally bumps into a wall or other objects at first. The navigation is excellent, but you have to understand that it takes time to learn the layout. Once you set it up, you will start the "mapping" feature where it will go everywhere it can physically gain access to while recording the layout of the zones, as well as each type of flooring, and it will continue to learn every time it runs. I've even noticed it learns habits such as with recliners, it knows sometimes it can go further underneath when the footrest is up, but if there are feet there, it will drop a pin in the app showing a shoe in that spot. If the feet are gone/raised on the next pass, it will leave the line it's in to clean the spot it couldn't before, then it will go right back to where it left off. In the app, you can edit the map to label the rooms, add furniture blocks, and add "no-go zones" (like an invisible fence) to keep it from entering a specific area, even if it could otherwise physically access the area. It could possibly already know the type of room (like a bathroom based off recognizing a toilet) and label it as such without you having to. You can also select no-go zones on a schedule, or set it to clean certain rooms at different times throughout the day. Obstacles... While the LiDAR technology is extremely advanced, it’s best to pick up small items like cords beforehand to be on the safe side. All of my kids are adults now, so I don't have any experience with tiny toys, but I personally haven't had any items get caught in a robot vacuum. However, there was one time when one got caught on my Golden Retriever's tail. It's important to note that she was getting pretty old at the time and didn't care to move out of anyone's way, especially not for an inanimate object. She was laying on a dark-colored wood floor, but the long, blonde fur on her tail was laying on a beige area rug and blended in. The vacuum snagged her fur and immediately shut down after registering the stuck roller brush. *It didn't hurt her at all.* She just looked mad that she had to move again and then it spooked her a bit when it "followed" her. She drug it about a foot before it fell off her tail, and then she grunted and gave me the side-eye as she climbed on the couch to go back to sleep. This vacuum performs well on our vinyl plank and tile floors, as well as our low-pile area rugs. The rugs are approximately 1/4" to 1/2" thick, and the robot handles them with ease. Our house is a 1,800 square foot, single level with a basement. This robot can clean every area on the main floor in less than an hour, and heads back to the charging base with around 30% battery left. I don't think the suction mode makes a difference in the length of time it takes to finish the job, but it does affect battery life. My time and battery example is based on max suction. The vacuum itself is very quiet. We run it at night when we are sleeping, and have never been woken up by it. It is pretty loud when it empties the dust bin at the base, but the app allows you to set a quiet time so it won't run the base suction during that time. The bottom line - Do I recommend this Eufy C10 robot vacuum? Of course!
