Picked up these microphones to do some recordings for a series of photography lessons I'm planning in the future. Overall, nice little microphones, small and compact, decent sound quality when recording on iPhone 13 Pro Max. I took them out into a couple real world scenarios to test the sound as soon as I got them. Testing in my back yard (which is in town so there is car traffic) they did a good job at noise cancellation. I didn't pick up sound from cars passing by at 25 mph on the street about 100 feet away, so that was nice. When I speak in an even tone at a mid-level volume, the sound is really good. I then took them on a shoot I was doing at a state park and that's where I noted my only real issue with these. I was working with a couple and using a 70-200 mm lens in the wooded areas of the park. When I'm shooting long, I have to project my voice to the subjects that are pretty far off in the distance. When I raised my voice to a higher level, the microphones distorted and cracked. Now, this could be due to the fact that the mic was clipped on my T-shirt collar and pretty close to my mouth. But unfortunately for me, that's probably where I will be using them about 50% of the time. I'll have to experiment with moving them further away from my face when I'm out in the field. One other minor thing that may or may not matter.... the clips are pretty flimsy (they give you an extra one) so I'm expecting to break them eventually. But overall, for the price point, they're decent mics. The receiver picks up the microphone from quite a distance away, and clearly even at about 50-60 feet. That's more than I'll ever need. These would be perfect for interviews, indoor vlogs, and other indoor scenarios. Just be aware that if you have a strong booming voice or speak with a raised volume (I don't really want to say "yelling" or "shouting", but something more like projecting your voice to the back of a room) you might want to be aware of microphone placement on your body.

I’ve had this mic for about 6 months. I got it to record vlogs etc and I wanted a more crisp audio. Love it so much. Works perfectly and its not even noticeable when you have it on. Only thing, which is probably an iphone thing, if you forget to turn it on or if the battery dies, you don’t really notice it when you have it ion you and your phone won’t record the audio. So you’ll have a talking video with no sound or voice whatsoever. It only flashes red when battery is low but if you’re wearing it you’ll not really notice. So pro tip: Constantly check its on.

I bought this as a quick fix for my short form content creation, and they definitely get the job done. No one mic overpowers the other. My only “complaint” is that they are very noise sensitive. If someone speaks loudly when the mic may be too close, it begins to sound like the mic is underwater and muffled. Great mic for the accessibility, convenience, and price point!
