  • HORRIBLE
This is the WORST made product I’ve ever bought. Several pieces of “wood” were split, the hinges were busted off of several pieces, the holes didn’t match up for the nesting box to be put on, we were missing ALL of the “B” screws. Directions were not very clear, the run is flimsy and I’m certain it would only take a baby kitten to bust through it. AND now I can’t return it because I’ve already attempted to put it together and threw out the boxes and packing materials. This was a complete waste of money and now my chickens are stuck in their brooder box until I can afford to get another coop. Absolutely ridiculous how awful the quality is on this coop. I intended for this to be a temporary coop (for a year or so). But it didn’t even last ONE DAY. Don’t buy this coop unless you are only using it as a marriage building exercise!!! ... show more

  • Great company!
I am posting this review because i felt compelled. Someone had left a negative review and i dont understand why. I had a few very minor issues with mine, and the company was more than willing to handle it and make it right. They are quick to respond to messages and very accomidating and easy to work with. I definately wouldnt hesitate ordering from this company again. The directions for putting this together are a little vague at some points and have a few steps backwards but pretty easy to figure out. It is a nice coop and am happy with it. Dont hesitate buying from this company because of the 1 bad review. I almost did and glad i didnt listen to that 1 and only review. I think they didnt actually know how to contact the company because amazon assistant tries to help first. If you need to contact them just select other for reasons your contacting them through amazon assistant and it will let you send them a message. ... show more

  • just ok
My husband assembled and while doing so, the wood is thin and actually split in one place. I like how the coop detaches from the run to move. However, the wheels are only on one side making moving not as easy. The locks are just plain crap. We purchased better locks to keep out raccoons and other varmits. Putting the coop back to the run isn’t very easy. Nothing really lines up correctly and I find there are actually gaps. The coop also has gaps which concern me with rats and snakes. I am keeping it because I have to have something at this point. ... show more

  • Basically over $300 for recycled partially cracked pallet wood with chicken wire.
Instructions were not exact. Not sure how weatherproof it is yet because we havent had it in the rain but there are quite a few gaps berween roof and walls. Not very safe for chickens. Front and back door could easily be opened by a raccoon and kill the chickens so we had to add more locks to ensure they wouldn't. The unit itself was cracked in 2 spots out of the box. The tray that holds the bedding is out of square and will not slide in all the way. Under the chicken nesting station the floor is not secure, easy for a predator to open up and attack chickens. This is just the coop. We haven't even built the run yet but I can only imagine it is just as poor workmanship. Not recommended for purchase. Hard to return to seller after assembly. ... show more

  • Functional with some issues...
Some parts arrived broken or unusable (see photos). I used wood glue and additional fasteners. I'll need to silicone seal some bits as we approach the wet season. Bottom line: for the price, it does the job.

  • What a pain
Instructions are horrible and some steps you literally have to guess what to do, because the I’l pictures are so bad. All the parts were there. But warped lumber. Missing pilot holes. Very flimsy. But at the end of the day I got it all put together, and it works. It’s a cheap chicken coop. Does look very nice all put together. I’m pretty handy with tools, and this was a pain to put together. ... show more

  • The run door is flimsy!
The coop portion is great the clean out box was missing a piece other than that beautiful. The run portion only few of the panels were labeled and alot of my boards on my Panels to the run we're split! I am not sure if it was done in shipping as the box was damaged. And if it was damaged during shipping they needed to put my maybe styrofoam at the sides and on the corners of the panels. The directions need to be more specific as it's just picture paper instructions arrows would be nice to show the way each piece layed out as they were specific! Another suggestion is I think since the run itself is not heavy tie downs or some kind of anchors with a handle would be perfect! The run door needs to have a latch on the top and bottom as it is flimsy and making the door easy for predators to get your flock! The customer service from this vendor was super amazing! Other suggestion is to buy tent stakes to secure run to the ground! You can see the ones we used in the photo and the orange head that holds the coop board down secure can move to loosen it making it easier to move the coop! Today my wheels fell off my coop during moving it! Although, this company has been great to work with this coop is not worth the money they want for it! ... show more
