I've only had this unit a short time but thought it deserved a review. It delivers 40 amps (almost 10kw). The power setting can be adjusted (hold your finger over the button for a few seconds). You can also delay the charge but generally this is easier to set up on your vehicle. The screen reports incoming voltage, charging amps, kw charged this session and the units temperature. If there's an app, I don't use it. I like that it is plug and play. It seems well made, doesn't get hot and hasn't given me a lick of trouble. There are some units selling for triple the price that don't deliver the amps this charger does. A simple charger that delivers the highest amps you can get with a plug. Value for money is very high!

I don't take the time normally to write reviews. I have to do it for this charger because of it's quality and price. 40 amp is about the highest that most ev onboard chargers can take. If your vehicle has a lower max input that's fine, because you will be future proof with this. If later you get a EV that can take 40 amp you already have it. For the $200 ish price, even the 16 amp chargers cost that much. Cons.... You will need to have the larger 220v plug (clothes dryer sizes plug) installed where you plan to use this charger. Also the cord is allot thicker and heavier than those on the smaller 16 amp chargers. But, will be worth handling the bulky cord if it charges your car 3 times faster.
