I purchased this when it was on sale for $189. The cord is flexible in cold weather and the box with the screen is compact enough to take it with us when we travel. I got this portable EV charger to my nephew for his first electric car, and it has been a hit. He's found it incredibly useful for charging his vehicle, especially during long trips where charging stations are sparse. It sort of seems that the always are around here. The charger is compact and easy to carry, which is a big plus for him as he can store it in his car without it taking up much space. The charging speed is impressive for a portable unit. . My nephew mentioned that it charges his car faster than he expected, saving him a lot of time. The build quality is sturdy, giving the confidence that it can withstand regular use and handling. It's also quite simple to use; he was able to get it working without any hassle. He does not have a larger charger at his house and he thinks that he may not need one with this unit. Great charger and the construction is very durable but you have to pay attention to the housing. Has over heat protection and is very versatile. Also has the overload protection and the storage bag is a bonus and comes in very handy. Great buy for the price.
