I cannot even begin to really do this justice by saying it is WONDERFUL! It is my first cast iron anything, but I would buy again in a heartbeat (even though this feels like it will last forever). It has a great seal for the top/bottom when cooking. It is super easy to clean down. The heat is always even along the bottom of my loaves. The handles are a great size without fear of dropping it when it is flaming hot. Side note- I bought long silicone heat protective gloves (a first for me as well) since the pot is pretty heavy and I need to really reach in and out of the stove. This is a ME problem, not a product problem. I’d definitely suggest getting those though too. But again the product is so perfect and I would recommend anyone buy it if you are on the fence! ... show more
