I bought this for its size, not the features, which are few. It is nice in appearance, sleek. There are two parts, a base that plugs into the power outlet and heats the water, and the pot that holds the water. There is an on/off switch attached to the base, and an indicator light on the side of the base that is on when the power is activated to the base and turnd off automatically when the water reached boiling point or turned off manually. I filled the pot to the max line with 75°f water and it began to boil in 7 minutes, with the automatic shutoff working in 7 minutes and 10 seconds, reaching 208°f. The exterior of the pot never reached more than 85°f. The pot lifts easily from the base, without resistance, it doesnt stick, so the base isn't lifted with the pot. The lid raises but not to 90° making it slightly more difficult to add water, but just a minor hinderance. The pot is lined with stainless steel, including a perforated spout. In all this is a nice pot. The longevity isn't known. If your looking for a pot thay reamins on to keep water hot throught the day this is not it. This one shuts off.

This was not my first choice. In fact, my first choice was supposed to be delivered next day if I ordered within 13 Hours and then 20 minutes later. It said it could come on a Tuesday and I was placing in my order on a wednesday. :( But it worked out better for me because I saved five dollars and found something to arrive next day. This little electric kettle is perfect. I am currently sick and sucking back tea, oat meal and soup. Which is why I wanted this as soon as possible. It heats up fast, takes up very little space and has a simple on switch which lights up blue. It's fairly quiet. The only flaw I could see is for somebody who has issues maybe with arthritis in their fingers that the flip top lid button might be hard to push. Worst case one could use their fist. I love that it doesn't have glass because I tend to be clumsy. This Has been a live saver. I've made half a dozen cups of tea today as well as oatmeal and soup. I also used the hot water to fill my hot water bottle twice. I would highly recommend this and I would buy it again it's perfect.

We have been using an electric kettle every day for over six years. We bought this one because we are staying abroad for a few months and figured it would just be easier to buy another one. This unit is fairly basic in styling but will fit into most kitchen decors. It does a good job of heating water quickly and keeps the water hot even after being shut off. Honestly, the only two things that I miss from our kettle back at home is the "window" in the side that allows me to see when the water starts to boil without opening the lid and the automatic shut-off switch that turns our other kettle off when the kettle is lifted off the base. The viewing window is really more of a preference, but I think this kettle would really benefit from the safety of having an automatic shut-off switch when the kettle is lifted off the base.

I use this to heat water for tea and sometimes other things, and it works great. It's lightweight, doesn't take up much space, & easy to fill. It's also easy to wipe out as needed and seems pretty low maintenance. I saw some reviews that said it was hard to reach into, but it's not. The lid has 2 stopping points, one around a 45 degree angle, and one at 90 degrees. Anyone who thinks it's hard to reach into the pot probably just didn't press firmly enough to open it all the way. It's not difficult, but it does have slight resistance at 45 degrees to allow for the lid to pause at that point if that's all you need. It only takes about 6 to 7 minutes to heat to a full boil and shuts of automatically when finished heating. The blue light is also fun and a great way to visually see when the pot is heating. Wonderful product!

This electric kettle is so nice. I love everything about it. I got the black one and it look's sleek with my other black appliances. But most importantly..it does an excellent job. I use it SO much as my apt complex doesn't have very hot water in the kitchen. It heat's up fast and I no longer have to worry about leaving a teapot on my gas stove under fire over night like I did once before ..yikes! 😳. Thank God it was a really quality Italian designed one and didn't catch on fire for the six hour's it was on my stove heating. But this electric kettle shuts off automatically once the water comes to a boil which is great! And it is cordless. No cord is attached to the kettle. Buy it!

I needed a replacement for my fancy with multiple temperature setting water kettle. That one cost a lot and had flaws, so I didn’t want to pay too much for another water kettle. I honestly got this one because of the very reasonable price. In short, it works very well. It heats the water very fast and it didn’t have a weird metal taste even for the first few pots. I like that it’s plastic outside the stainless steel, so I don’t accidentally touch it and burn myself when it’s hot. Some minuses include the button on the lid and the on/off switch feel very flimsy. Also, it takes a couple of tries to put it back on the stand, so not sure if it’ll damage the heating element over time. However, for the price, I will be very happy if it works for a couple of years.

I love my tea kettle it works great 👍. But I live in mobile home park and had to go search where it was delivered to. My address was clearly noted but teapot was delivered 3 streets over to an unoccupied home. Other than that the product is great.
