The Madison 13.2 Gallon (50 Liter) standard size trash can offers convenient, hands-free trash disposal in an understated sheen that works with your stainless, white, black, any appliances and decor. The rugged step pedal mechanism is built to withstand years of daily use, and the bi- force damper soft open and close lid prevents slamming and banging. Stay open locking lid allows you to hold the lid open longer when necessary. Use your favorite deodorizer in the built-in compartment on the underside of the lid to keep your kitchen smelling fresh between bag changes. The removable polypropylene inner liner has a cut out bag fixer slot to tuck in your trash bag so it won't slip down into the can. So easy to maintain with a simple wipe with a soft cloth. I have had this 50L brushed stainless steel EKO Madison Step trash bin with soft-close lid for approx 3 weeks. It works great! I like that you can lock the lid open by sliding the little button. I have used another brand for years (simple human), and quite honestly, I like this EKO brand better because of its quality, size, shape, the fact that any regular 13 gallon bag fits it perfectly, and the bag stays there around the interior plastic bin until you are ready to remove it. ... show more

I bought two for our bathrooms mainly to keep the dogs out of the trash. They do a great job and look super nice and are plenty sturdy. Still have plenty of bags that they came with and will certainly buy more of the same brand bags. I have always used old grocery bags in our bathroom cans but I am hooked on these perfectly sized drawstring bags. I will certainly buy more when I need them. I can't believe I'm reviewing a trashcan but this one is amazing! I used to fight putting a new bag in and taking it out. Not with this baby....It is so easy to change bags now. I like how far the lid opens and how you can lock it wide open. Closes slowly and quietly. Very sturdy and we'll made. My one complaint is it does slide on the floor so I will have to find something to stop it from sliding. Not a game changer though. I also like the option to pop in and an air freshener. I use a cotton round with some drops of essential oil and it works well. Several reviews complained that they weren't included but no where in the description did it say they were. I really like this trashcan! My old one broke so I was searching amazon for a new one. Although all of the cans were pricey, I decided on this one. I like the matte finish, it's quiet operation and size. The other nice feature is the lock when you are changing bags. You can lock the lid up instead of keeping your foot on the pedal. It comes with sample trash bags, and I've already purchased more because I like the size of them and how much they hold. ... show more
