  • Excellent, came w/hardware
Style: Scraper Bar
Excellent, photos don't show hardware but it did come with it

  • Perfect fit.
Style: Scraper Bar
This part comes with bolts, nuts and washers, which I really appreciated. The ones I took off from the old part had been scraped against the concrete, and the threads on those bolts had been damaged. Perfect fit, easy to change out, and all the parts you need for installation.

  • Good scraper bar; hardware could be better
Style: Scraper Bar
After using my snowblower for three years, the scraper bar was worn down, so I replaced it with this item, and it was easy to do, and worked great. Then, three years later, it was worn again, so I got this same item again. (And got two so I'll be prepared for when 2028 rolls around!) But this time the replacement was very difficult, because the screws were impossible to unscrew. Unlike the original bolts from the factory, these new bolts had no way to hold the head; they have a squared-off shank like a carriage bolt, and fit in a square hole in the plastic scraper, but that wasn't enough to keep the bolts from turning when I tried to unscrew the rusted nuts. I ended up having to saw off the old bolts. I'd recommend using better hardware, if I knew exactly what to get. Or you could try to keep your nuts and bolts from rusting, or you could just resign yourself that a few years from now you might have to hacksaw off the bolts. ... show more

  • Good as new!
Style: Scraper Bar
My snowblower was catching on the pavement. I looked for adjustments and found none. Then I googled the problem and learned that you need to replace the scraper bar periodically. Installation is an easy 5 minute job and now my snow blower works like new.

  • Buy multiples if you have gravel driveway
Style: Scraper Bar
I have replaced this blade 3 times now, so I bought 3 more. I have a gravel driveway, and the design of this snowblower has the scraper blade against the ground/pavement/concrete/gravel, so you must manually lift it slightly to skim over it. Therefore, whenever it gets caught under a rock, if you exert enough pressure (you're already pushing the blower), it'll knock chips out of the blade. Otherwise, it's a great design, very easy to install & replace, and the price is right. ... show more

  • 21" Snow Blower Scraper Bar -> Comes with hardware!
Style: Scraper Bar
I found out the hard way in my 2nd season using my EGO single stage snowblower that there is a wear item ... yep the illusive scraper bar :cringe: First heavy snow of the '23-'24 season and I was happy to pull my clean fuel electric snowblower out to clear the driveway and sidewalk ... though this time it wasn't so easy, the relatively lightweight snowblower seemed to be dragging as I pushed it along. After finishing, a little Google-fu showed me that the bottom of these single stage snow blowers is a plastic scraper bar. That's right, to scrape the snow away from the bottom of the driveway and it actually does a pretty darn good job at it. Well that is until the scraper bar wears down to nothing, and depending on how many times you need to snow blow over the winter that could happen more than once! So I went a searching on the Amazon after my nearby Ace Hardware and Lowe's was out of stock on this item. I found this one for $20.99 but the description says NOTHING about the mounting hardware, no pictures or anything. I found another scraper bar for $34.95 that showed the hardware (5 bolts/washers/nylon lock nuts). When I inspected my hardware I noticed the bolts were beveled from scraping along my concrete driveway so I thinking CRAP, I guess I need to replace the hardware too!?! For me the difference in price from $20.99 to $34.95 was too much to swallow for 5 simple bolts/washers/nuts so I planned to reuse the beveled bolts and just hope for the best. To my delight, this EGO branded package had a ziplock bag with all the hardware included! So don't go spend more for the higher priced scraper that shows the bolts when this one has everything you need. Both of these items coincidentally are sold by the EGO Amazon store, seems a little shady to me. As for the scraper bar itself, I guess I can accept spending $20 per season for "maintenance" considering there are no oil changes, no gas, no pull starting a motor ... BUT I sure wish EGO would do a better job and make this sucker a LOT more durable! ... show more

  • Product is a perfect fit for the poorly designed ego scrapper bar
Style: Scraper Bar
This is a perfect fit and pretty quick replacement process. However, this scraper bar will only last 10 clearings of a standard driveway before it again needs to again be replaced. This is a flaw in EGOs engineering. It’s quite frustrating to have a consumable like that requires multiple replacements per season if you live in a snow blessed area. It gets costly and other manufactures do not suffer from this defect. For example, Toro knows how to build snowblowers. ... show more
