The media could not be loaded. I hatched a clutch of silkie eggs with this incubator. As mentioned in my video review, the on-board digital thermometer and hygrometer are NOT accurate, so it is important to have your own reliable sensors in there. So long as you compensate for the inaccuracies of the on-board read out and set the target temp accordingly, I found that this incubator maintained the temperature well. It also did a good job of turning the eggs, no jams or anything. Since the base of the incubator is very smooth, hard plastic, it is extremely important to put down some sort of padding to provide traction for the chicks when they hatch, or the slippery surface could cause / exacerbate splay legs. By the same principle, even thought the egg turner automatically stops on day 18, I would highly advise removing it to ensure that the chicks do not get their feet caught in the grate and get hurt. I used the dry hatch method, so I didn't use the humidifier too extensively, but even so, I suspect it can be finicky. Just note that it's not how much water you add to the reservoir that will control the humidity levels, it's the surface area for evaporation (so the number of blue strips you put into the central cup). If you're doing regular incubation and have issues keeping humidity up, I would suggest looking up the shoelace incubator hack. You might have to drill a little hole into the incubator cover, but it will make controlling the humidity without lifting up the dome much easier and prevent temperature fluctuations. With all the hatching done, the incubator was easy to clean up (I used 1:1 water and 3% hydrogen peroxide), and I saved the box so I could store it easily.

This is a nice incubator, I wouldn't recommend it for large eggs but for chicks it works great, you see all the eggs easily and it has all the necessary features. Not the best design for hatching though as they have trouble moving around inside when they are born. The egg candler built in is a nice added feature.

4 stars only because I haven’t used it yet as I’m getting chickens in the spring, but getting ready for them! It looks complete, has a rotating mechanism so the eggs can be turned as they incubate. Looks sturdy and built well. Will update once I’ve used it! And because I like to see the actual instructions from the box before buying something, I’ve included them here.

Wonderful egg incubator. I love the auto turn function and the preset for hatching eggs. Quite a "set and forget" incubator that makes hatching your eggs extremely easy and worry-free. The clear casing is also a nice added touch to be able to easily check on the eggs, as well as the built in candler. Very useful and great to have.

The media could not be loaded. I do have to adjust the sensor every time I turn it on, but then works fine afterward. It will beep at me LOUDLY if I don’t. I haven’t tried the humidity aspect of it yet, but the top shows you the humidity percentage and temperature inside of it. It does have a small vent to help regulate all of that as well. The candling light on top works great and is nice that it’s included. It can fit twelve chicken eggs. I am not sure about anything smaller for the smaller egg section. It does come with some water strips, but I haven’t tried that yet either. Overall, a good incubator to get familiar with hatching eggs and I really like it.
