Let me tell you this is a game changer. I see value for money when it was on sale. I have since been getting lots of ads about these kind of robots and this one is on the top of the list. The size is good for an average person to be able to lift it up on their own. It's very easy to setup and use. Can you imagine a technology like this I was able to setup in 30min and start using it. That's crazy, I actually work with autonomous mobile robots in the warehouse industry and let me tell you, the auto mapping feature is so good, take lots of the work away from you. I got about 1500sqft of cutting done with about 40% of the battery life in 30min of mowing time. So I suspect you can easily get 3-4k sqft out of this on a single charge. I like the stripes that it creates makes the lawn nice and tidy. I will caution this is not your typical lawnmower where it doesn't create a draft to lift the grass blade, it works well where the grass blades are not squished and it obviously doesn't mulch fallen leaves. The cutting mechanism is like a rotating 3 smaller blades on each rotor. You can adjust the map manually and it's smart enough to move around obstacles. I like the trimmer on the side as it gets the side grass. I like the white color while it's not hiding itself it definitely makes sure to alert people around. Time will tell how this robot continues to perform but so far I like it and it's doing what it's meant to do and would recommend it for anyone looking to make their yard work easier and focus on enjoying your time outdoors. I still know I will have to run a regular mower at time, but this one will help get rid of the weekly grind. I will also note you probably have to run this twice in a week to keep the grass blades in check so it doesn't get too long that it's hard for it to cuts. It can keep grass size from 1.2 to 3.5in. Being the first one in the neighborhood to get this you will definitely get on lookera and videographer :). It does have a their protection where it will alarm when picked up and it has a password code that someone has to put in to use it.

Wow wow m, my husband is doing a happy dance as this cute robot lawn mower gave him lot of rest. We are very satisfied for the price we paid and the way this robot works. We were able to set it up in 20 minutes, it comes with a very big chart of instructions with pics and once you get a hang of using the app and mapping your lawn it’s good to go. Only thing is it needs its docking station close to it while it’s mowing. Carrying the dock out everytime it mowed is a hassle but it’s worth it for the next few hours as the robot finishes the job. We did had a bit of hard time mapping it automatically and it won’t go to the end of the lawn so you need to finish off the edge cutting but compared to the easiness and the flexibility it offers we are loving it. It’s slow but finishes the job. Perfect size not too bulky or heavy. It’s not too loud either. Go for it and for this price it’s a great value.

After using a Husqvarna H15 (wired perimeter), a Eufy E15 not wired perimeter) this Ecovacs A2000 is decent. The H15 & E15 both had grass height limitations which is not good fof the St Augustine grass. They did work but during main growing season any robotic lawnmower will struggle unless mowing at least every 2-3 days. The A2000 is no exception. Although the A2000 has a slightly higher height setting so that is a plus. The H15 seldom got stuck other than ruts (like edge of sidewalk). The E15 got stuck quite often in the same areas but also more in the yard in general (the ruts are a problem since the E15 only has a single front wheel). The E15 was not as good as the H15 in wet grass especially in thick turf. The A2000 has yet to get stuck. Th E15 would also fall off the 6" tall concrete curb almost every time no matter how the settings were configured*. The A2000 is much better in this regard - has yet yo drive off the curb. The E15 has a much better App and map system than the A2000. The E15 allows one to draw lines and boundaries in the App on the map once created. The A2000 has minimal similar features and any no-go zone or perimeter lines must be manually remote controll created. A plus but not perfect is the A2000 can be remote controlled uo sctually mow as long as one is within about ten feet (1 M) from the mower. The not perfect part it is near impossible to mow in a straight line (which is problematic in attempting to create a border perimeter to the neighbors lawn in the front yard. The work-around to this is to create the map overlapping slightly in the neihbors yard, then split that neighbor's yard portion off of the map as its own area once the map is created. Although I did this but one side on a neighbor yard the A2000 cuts a straight line and the other neighbor's yard it does not. To correct one has to delete that area and manually remote control to remap. Deleting an area also deletes any assiciated sceduled mowing - so best to revise the scedule to eliminate the area to be deleted in advance so as to preserve the schedule before deleting a mapped zone/area. Cut quality on the A2000 is ok but the H15 & E15 seemed to do better at clean cuts and mulching. Not necessarily a deal breaker but something to consider. I mention this due to the A2000 leaving grass clippings when cutting in main growing season. To avoid this increase the scheduled mowing passes in those areas/zones. In my case I also had to set the low avoidance feature since some weeds in a area/zone grow tall in a few days. The A2000 seems to cut within the perimeter created only. A good thing to some degree. The main drawback is the inability to manually remote control the unit without it wandering left and right during the process. This can lead to small swaths of uncut grass along fence or garden borders. The A200 has a side trimmer feature that works reasonably well. The main drawback is it follows the original remote controlled pathway that one created to define the perimeter. Although one can select segments of the borders to trim. The downside is the map is not really easy to establish precise start and end points when establishing the trim segments. * The E15 was stolen after it fell off the curb mid growing season earlier this year and why I bought the A2000. The H15 units had in-ground wiring issues and I had to make a decision during peak geowing season last year to work in the heat replacing lines or try a newer mower, hence why I bought the E15 the year prior. Be sure to upgrade or pay for the cellular features otherwise if a unit is stolen there is zero tracking once it leaves thd WiFi range of the property.

Don't purchase this product. When I first bought the product it was very good and I liked it. The company keeps doing updates and forcing all decisions about the mapping of the yard to be made by the AI system. I have a fence the the mowers AI system cannot learn what a fence is. Since the recent upgrade, when I try to map out my yard around the fence and the house, the AI system overrides the mapping and joins all the yeard together, even though there is a fence in the way. I opened a support ticket with EcoVacs and they told me that is the way the system works and I had to live with it. So there is a section of the yeard that the mower cannot get to because it is separated by a drive way. The only way I can setup the mower to mow the entire front yard is to say there is no drive way, which the mower will mow the drive way. If I map it out with a drive way, the AI keeps saying it can get to that section of the year through the fence. It will keep trying to go through the fence until the battery gets low and returns to the charging station. It will not let me add a path as the AI has deremine that there is already a path through the fence. I opened a 2nd case with ecovac and they told me that in order to sperate the front yard from the back yard around the fence, I had to leave at least 12 inches of space between the years. This turned out to be inaccurate. I have to leave 3 feet of space between the front and back yard to keep the AI from combining the two yards through the fence automatically. That means I have to use a trimmer or mower to mow the 3 feet of space that has to be alotted so the AI does tno think it is one yard. It is pretty sad that the AI system cannot figure out that a yard has a fence in it. That is an awful AI system. I would recommend staying away from this product.

I have a lot of experience with robot vacuums, ranging from the cheap ones to the current top-of-the-line Roborocks. I came into this purchase knowing robot mowers aren't a mature technology yet. I was willing to accept some quirks and shortcomings if the overall productivity was good. This still seems to be falling short. The mower itself is solidly built and does a better job cutting than I'd expect. Adjusting down to 1.2" is great considering we have Bermuda. Run time is actually fantastic. We could do our entire front and back yard on a single charge. The issue is the app and the navigation. I have my base and RTK station in the best possible spots for my yard. RTK is actually above the fence line. They both read 38 satellites. Despite that, I'm only having about a 50% success rate of the mower traversing our side yard and finding the front. This would be less of a problem, except this mower inexplicably doesn't support you physically carrying it between zones. You *have* to drive it in manual mode to the next zone if you can't find it. And the "joystick" for manual mode is horrific. You'll be steering left and it suddenly starts turning right, and vise versa. The bigger pain is how often it temporarily decides it's "out of range" and locks the whole thing down. It's never actually out of range; it's a glitch in the satellite signal I guess. When this happens, you have to go physically reset the mower. Nothing can be done remotely. If you're not home, you've just got a robot mower beached in the center of your yard. The app itself is a mess. I'll constantly tell it to mow a zone, click start, then watch it tell me the "process has timed out". You'll restart the app a few times and it suddenly works. Another thing: it will tell you the mower is "stuck" and show it stranded somewhere on the map. You'll look an hour later and it's still showing it's stuck. Then you go out to rescue it and discover the mower actually had managed to get unstuck and dock itself. I know the navigation part is extremely difficult to perfect. Robot vacuums have only had it right for a couple of years. But the actual iOS app looking like someone's school project is embarrassing for a company as large as Ecovacs. It feels like the software you get with some $10 webcam. My honest summary is this: 1. This is an insane value right now. At $650 it's the cheapest mower on the market with real mapping, and it generally does a good job mowing when it can find the yard you want mowed. 2. This is probably the generation immediately before things feel like they "just work". If you wait 12 months and buy an entry level mower, it will probably be far beyond this one. 3. Do not buy this if you aren't okay with tinkering. If you're a tech guy who doesn't mind playing with the app and trying multiple times to refine maps, you'll be okay. 4. You'll be much happier with this mower if your front and back yards are connected by a wide passage. With our 3' wide side yards, this is a real struggle. If I had a 6' wide passenge instead, I believe the whole experience would be different. *Update* I'm removing another star. This mower seems to get worse at navigating as time has gone on. It constantly gets lost in the yard, panics and locks itself. It will be in the middle of the lawn, suddenly show itself as off map, then declare its outside the operating area. Whenever this happens, you have the physically relocate the mower back to the base and enter your in code to reactivate it. The maddening thing is that it doesn't put itself to sleep when it does this, so it rapidly drains the battery to zero. Meaning you need to wait for it to recharge before you can make another attempt at mowing. We've been trying for four days to mow our front yard. Lastly- and this is truly insane- the map won't let you draw "out of bounds" areas. You have to stand there and control the robot with the joystick in the app and outline the area that's off limits. Meanwhile, it will let you draw other areas on the map without issue. **Final Update** I finally abandoned this mower and purchased a Mova Ultra 1000 Lidar instead. The cost difference was only around $250 on sale. The Mova is obviously better built, allows you to adjust the grass height in the app, and runs much more quietly. More importantly, the Mova app actually makes sense and functions properly. The GOAT got lost traveling from our front yard to our back yard approximately 3/4 of the time. Meanwhile, the Mova has had a 100% success rate there so far. The Mova is also able to mow at night and doesn't require an RTK station to be installed. It's far from perfect, but in my opinion it's what I hoped the GOAT would be: a competent entry-level robot mower.

This lawn mower saves me so much time. It takes me a whole 40 minutes to get my whole yard mowed but with this robotic lawn mower it has made it so much more easier for me. Setting it up to start working is super easy it maps the whole yard including the area where trees are and where I have my mulch. This is great so that it doesn't end up bumping into my plants and going over my mulch. Instead it goes around and avoids these obstacles. I love how it looks and the fact that its not loud at all. Its actually super quite and barley noticeable. It doesn't take long to charge and the battery life is pretty good. Its able to complete my whole yard at once without having to stop and charges it self. It definitely does a great job in cutting the grass. I let it mow my lawn a lot of times till now and I always get a nice clean and even looking yard afterwords. It has a pretty fast and strong cutting blades and doesn't leave any clumps of grass after mowing the whole lawn. It does a great job on trimming the sides too. It charges itself automatically and comes with a app which is also super easy to use. The app has lots of features like scheduling a custom time of when you want it to start mowing your yard and you can choose what places you dont want the lawn mower not to go. Overall great robotic lawn mower and would definitely recomend this for anyone with a yard whether its big or small.

Interesting product, but it did not work for our application. Video did not show that it does not collect the clippings it just leaves them on the grass. If you are looking for something more like Roomba this is not it. It takes time to set up the zones/ mapping. For people who do not have a garage for it to return back to the charging point this is not for you.

The Ecovacs GOAT A2000 robotic lawn mower works great and is surprisingly fun to watch. I manually added three complex lawn areas that are separated by sidewalks and a gate, and it successfully completes the first lawn before moving directly on to the next one. Once it finishes mowing, I have it trim the edges. It then automatically returns to its base to recharge. I run it two to three times per week, and the results have been excellent. There are no noticeable clippings left behind, and the turf looks neat, healthy, and well maintained.
