Features

  • Wire-Free Robotic Lawn Mower with LiDAR Navigation - GOAT A2000 LiDAR PRO is a wire-free robotic lawn mower that requires no perimeter wire or RTK antenna. The HoloScope 360 Dual-LiDAR system automatically maps your yard and delivers precise 2 cm positioning even under trees, near fences, or in shaded areas where GPS mowers lose signal.
  • Built-In Edge Trimming for Clean Borders - Unlike standard robot lawn mowers, this model features an integrated TruEdge trimmer for true edge-to-edge cutting. It trims along driveways, sidewalks, flower beds, and irregular lawn borders reducing the need for manual string trimming after mowing. (Includes 2 rolls of trimming line, each covering approximately 3km of edging.)
  • High-Power 32V Platform for Thick Grass - Designed for American lawns with Bermuda, Zoysia, Fescue, and St. Augustine grass. The 32V motor and dual-blade disc system provide stronger cutting torque and faster blade rotation, helping this robotic mower handle dense, fast-growing grass and uneven terrain.*Compared to previous GOAT models, based on ECOVACS lab testing.
  • Fast Charging Robotic Mower for Medium to Large Yards - Equipped with a durable 3.0Ah battery and 113.4W fast charging, this robot lawn mower recharges in about 50 minutes. Ideal for homeowners looking for automated lawn care with minimal downtime and consistent scheduled mowing performance.
  • Smart App-Controlled Lawn Mower with Custom Zones - Control your smart lawn mower through the ECOVACS app. Create multiple mowing zones, set no-go areas, adjust cutting height and speed, define travel paths between zones, and customize mowing schedules. Designed for complex yard layouts and personalized lawn care.

  • Unless your yard looks like a fairway at a PGA course avoid this.
Style: GOAT A3000 LiDAR PRO
Setup was a massive pain and took several hours due to the App required being utterly terrible. After multiple attempts and phone calls I never successfully go it into mapping mode. I got it to work in manual mode but thats not what I bought this for. Added note: If you lawn looks like the fairway of the 17th hole at Agusta i'm sure this will do fine for you from a mowing perspective. However if your lawn isn't smooth as glass and highly manicured this is not the robot mower for you. ... show more

  • Read before buying! Expensive lawn ornament once warranty expires.
Style: GOAT A2000 LiDAR PRO
The battery BMS failed after just one season of use, following about three months in storage. Unfortunately, the product was already out of warranty. After multiple interactions with customer support, I was told there is no way to purchase a replacement battery or even the BMS component to repair it. At this point, I have no viable way to get the mower working again. It’s extremely frustrating that a relatively minor component failure effectively renders the entire unit unusable, with no path to repair. Buyers should beware that once the product is out of warranty, replacement parts are NOT available, leaving you with no practical support options. What should have been a long-term investment has turned into an unusable piece of trash. ... show more

  • A total life saver - love it!!
Style: GOAT A2000 LiDAR PRO
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had the Goat A2000 for about two weeks and it’s been a game-changer. My lawn is 3,000 sq. ft. with three different zones, and it handles the whole thing perfectly. In the last 15 days, it’s mowed 3 times, tasks that would have easily taken me 4+ hours to do manually. The setup is easy, though you do need a little patience to get used to the mapping interface. Once it's set, the obstacle avoidance is great; it easily navigates around my trees and yard valves. Also, creating schedules and automation is pretty good. Few top features that I like: • Edge Trimming: Surprisingly good, gets right up to the borders. • Customization: Adjusting the height and mowing direction in the app is super smooth If you want your weekends back and a perfectly maintained lawn, this is worth every penny. ... show more

  • No storage of maps. A lot of work can be lost easily
Style: GOAT A3000 LiDAR PRO
Without proper map management the ECOVACS GOAT 3000 is an interesting toy. I have been using a Husqvarna automower for about seven years. This was the type that required a boundary wire. It was painful to set up but worked well for seven years. Quite good actually. The unit stopped taking a charge this year. I had replaced the batteries last year and it was not the batteries. I could have repaired it by replacing boards and power supplies until it started to work again. The Husqvarna is very modular. However, this is a hit or miss operation with no real way to test other than swapping components. I decided to have a look at other options. In the end I bought the EcoVACs mower rather than repair my Husqvarna. The ECOVACS mower has turned out to be a marvel. Truly easy to set up. Remarkable technology. It did a perfect now the very first time. Easy to use, set up and edit boundary’s. I think this is going to be a winner. No GPS, no ground station. No boundary wire. But……. There is a significant problem. When editing maps it is way too easy to accidentally erase your map. This means starting all over. While creating a map is relatively easy, It took me about an hour to map the main area around my house. Should be a once and done operation. When I went to add another area and connect the two areas it asked if I wanted to “reset” the map. I thought it was asking me if I wanted to finalize the connection of the two areas. Why it asked this at that point I don’t know. Anyway, I accepted that and my map was gone! No way to get it back. Gone. That was one hour. Imagine if you had spent some real time on it. Which, if you had a complicated lawn you might easily do. I had several areas to add. This is a real problem. I imagine it should be relatively easy for EcoVacs to fix. Store Maps to the cloud? Add enough memory to store locally? But most of all make it very clear when your action will erase a map! If it wasn’t for this it would get five stars. Presently it gets 3 because of the amazing tech and what looks like a solid build. I actually wouldn’t recommend it at this point until this is fixed. ... show more

  • Not ready for primetime
Style: GOAT A3000 LiDAR PRO
It's a cool idea whose time has come. It is not, however, a product which is ready for real life. I am sure it works fine in a lab but it failed me, badly, both on my slopes and in the flat sections of my yard. First, the good: It navigates well. It is a huge imrpovment over the GPS and wire types. LIDAR works well and the app is more responsive with info than it is with the evocavs robovacs, which often stack notices from hours ago. That said, it's not a great machine. It is let down primarily by the decision to make it RWD vs. AWD. The free-rotating casters at the front make hillsides impossible. Attached is a picture confirming my steepest grade falls within the confines of the stated max incline the machine can handle. What I found in reality is that any bump, at all, sends the nose wildly off course and leads to over-corrections that cause the machine to spin out and sometimes roll over on a steeper (but still within the MANUFACTURER'S stated tolerance) slope. If this was the robot's only failing, maybe I could forgive it. I am, after all, coming within the 90%+ range of what it's supposed to handle on a hill. But, on flat sections, I found the bot consistently missed huge strips, leading my lawn to look like a teenager learning to shave his face--patchy and not clean. I can understand the hill issue with RWD. That's poor design to mate the ability to do that incline with no control over the nose of the bot. Bad move by ecovacs. The flat yard performance, however, is really quite pathetic to see strips of ignored, uncut grass on flat parts. Not good value at the price point. Kind of ridiculous, actually. Returned and waiting for the Roborock AWD model. ... show more
